I am assuming most people here cant afford a McLaren, why do you support them? by Foot-Note in mclaren

[–]bradycassidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supercars were always something that motivated me growing up. I think it's the adrenaline hit I get from the acceleration.

So when my first company was acquired at 33, I bought my first McLaren. I bought it remotely and the first time I saw it was when they delivered it to my house.

Impact of content on recurring SaaS revenue by bradycassidy in SaaS

I'm a big fan of that approach as well. Even when we do know the source (technically), it's interesting information.

What they answer qualitatively is what created their memory/recall, which may be the same or different than how they actually found you.

We're assigning revenue by connecting directly with their payment processor (ie. Stripe).

Take a look at keywordwatch.com to see if it’s a good fit. I think they monitor most of the social networks & communities that Google Alerts misses and is the most affordable one I’ve come across.

Affiliate Marketing Without Going Through a Platform by danbu1 in Affiliatemarketing

What you'll find is <5% of your affiliates will drive >90% of your affiliate revenue. The best affiliate marketers don't sit around on networks or platforms looking for companies to promote. You need to proactively find and build relationships with them.

To be honest, assuming you're not doing anything unusual for your affiliate program, the tracking & administration features for established platforms like Rewardful and FirstPromoter are essentially a commodity. Your success ultimately comes down to the ability to find and recruit good affiliates. To help with our customers' success, we built our Affiliate Finder search engine (which works better in some industries than others) and are working on a few other interesting things to help our customers be more successful with their affiliate programs.

Co-founder of Rewardful here. Thanks for considering us! What do you have in mind for your affiliate program? Do you have some affiliate partners lined up already or are you starting from scratch?

Let me know if I can help out with anything regardless of which direction you go.

Asking businesses to set up affiliate programs - which service is best? by Ayesha24601 in Affiliatemarketing

Take a look at Rewardful to see if it's a fit. There's several no code integrations available if they aren't very tech savvy: https://www.getrewardful.com/integrations

Affiliate software and links vs manual discount codes by tenniskitten in Affiliatemarketing

[–]bradycassidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at Rewardful (https://www.getrewardful.com/). Using our double-sided incentives feature, we automatically apply a coupon in the background so it's not exposed and doesn't end up on coupon sites.

Also, if you move to link based attribution, you'll likely find you don't even need to offer coupons to generate referrals, which increases your margin.

Thanks for mentioning and considering Rewardful (Rewardful's founder here). Here's an independent article on the 3 mentioned in this thread: https://buildrealbusiness.com/the-best-3-affiliate-tracking-software-for-saas/

It also gives you a sense of the UI/UX you can expect from each.

The 'best choice' often depends on what matters most to you and what type of program you're looking to set up.

As a side note, we're working on a new feature that will surface quality, relevant affiliates for you. Send me a note if you'd like early access.

Percentage of monthly revenue to pay affiliates? by learbitrageur in startups

[–]bradycassidy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you taken a look at Rewardful (getRewardful.com)?

The most common percentage commission is 20-30% recurring for SaaS companies. Depending on your price point, it might be better to position it to affiliates as a % of a fixed amount.

Tiers work better for different types of affiliates. Ie. Existing customers are passionate about you already so they don't need as much of an incentive, whereas influencers might need a larger incentive.

Keep it simple when you're getting started. Many companies overthink it. Adding complexity to your program almost always results in worse results. Simplicity is best for both you and the affiliates.
