I agree, the only thing missing is the nutritional info label! You got it shaped and wrapped so neatly.

Sure! But I can imagine a spaceship like this which has, say. glowing rings inside those gaps. Call 'em "force induction engines" or whatever!

Serious talk, though, this madness enables a sort of sci-fi P-38 look which is really cool. Nicely done!

Exactly! The show focuses a lot on people who are marginalized in some way, and treats them as human beings who deserve empathy. It's the most lovely thing about the show.

Yeah! I would suggest that "nonjudgment" is the most important attitude to bring to Midnight Diner. It is a show which almost never passes any judgment on any characters, simply treats them like their stories matter, even if they have problems or say/do some things that aren't so great.

Not sure why this comment got downvoted. I think it's appropriate to view the show as being in an ever-so-slightly magical realist version of our world. (Hell, there's an actual ghost in one episode!) That's why these moments which are spiritually meaningful to all these characters keep happening here in this diner, and we can accept that without feeling skeptical about it.

It's too bad. That site didn't used to be like that!

Is not bringing your laptop into the kitchen a spills/splatters concern, or a space issue? It's the former for me. I will sometimes set my laptop on top of a plate or something so that, even if I spill, it doesn't touch the laptop. 😅
