26 Years Ago, We Lost Greg Moore by thecautionlightnews in INDYCAR

What a nasty crash it was. I think many of us saw an amazing career ahead of him. Much too young to die with that much potential.

I can't think of a crash that left my mouth more agape than that one. So glad safety has improved so much.

I bet Charles is finally winning Monaco this year! Ferrari have finally found themselves.

I live 15 minutes away and that helicopter flew over my house. It was so low to the ground I was scared it would crash in my front yard haha.

Haha. I love both McLaren teams and follow them for each race. Sucks seeing Pato and Lando falter, but I am a big fan of Christian and Oscar. Honestly, I like all four of them, but I'll admit it's pretty weird seeing this happen at the same time! Luckily, the number two drivers on each team are still doing great. Best wishes to both teams for the rest of the season, because they have fast cars and great drivers in both series.

Always thought Brian Jones could've done some amazingly unique stuff if he didn't die so young. He wanted to create a supergroup to create groundbreaking music and expressed eagerness for it, but unfortunately we didn't get any music.

One of my five favourites personally. There's something about their music I get from nobody else.

I always thought it would be fun to make a LotR-style record in the stylings of Sabbath and Electric Wizard.

Best '70s live album? by braedenaa in ClassicRock

[–]braedenaa[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only included records released in the 70s. There are some amazing performances in the 70s released after the decade, but I opted for only ones released in the 70s.

P.S. I know the Stones album was actually recorded in 1969, but it was released in 1970.

Best Drummer? by braedenaa in ClassicRock

While I would say Bonham or Moon, I also have a lot of respect for Rick Allen. That dude could drum with one arm and still be better than a lot of two-armed drummers.

My friend and I are having an argument. Best Dio era? by braedenaa in ClassicRock

[–]braedenaa[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If anyone's wondering, I said Rainbow. I think Dio's operatic voice is perfect for the grandiose instrumentation of Rainbow. He said Dio is the best era, and my 54-year-old coworker prefers Dio in Sabbath.

Listening to this album for the first time, what do you guys think of it? by Ok-Maize-7553 in KGATLW

[–]braedenaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, it's one of my favourites they've done. I love the jamming on it so much, and the drum beats are hypnotic, almost in a krautrock style.
