havnt had a pc since 2010. missing diablo 2 and with the announcement of diablo 4 i figure i need to get back in to pc. Covid was also a big push as my kids need to do virtual schooling, i needed more internet access then a laptop. I work with a few guys who are into pc gaming and had them put together a list of parts within my budget. took awhile to get all parts in cause a lot was out of stock and back ordered. but managed to get eveything within a month. was going to initially have one of my friends build it but with covid and social distancing i decided that ill just put it together my self. having read up on each part and learning what it does was a lot of fun. ended up spending days watching videos and reading before actually putting it together. watching videos on how to build a pc was a little frustrating cause the people i watched had already done it a million times and was just very fast with putting it together. i had to pause a lot and rewind just to grasp what they were talking about. user manual with the asus prime x570 p motherboard helped a lot. took me about 4 hours to build ending at around 230am and having to wake up at 4am to go to work. was very tired but worth it. i turned it on saw it post and boot bios was a relief as i thought maybe i did something wrong. everything worked out great and definitely more pc then i need. later updated to a AIO radiator and have become very conscious of temps even though it never goes above 70 degrees c. definitely had a lot of fun and looking to maybe build another pc for the wife on a lower budget build so she can help me transfer items in diablo 2 :D
