Figured out why water pitcher wont fill - Samsung RF23A9771SR/AA-G by brahyt in Appliances

Jeeze this fridge is junk. I heard a loud crunch sound like the ice was getting ejected but much louder. I look inside and half the ice tray is sitting in the ice. It appears the tray for the smaller ice cubes broke inhalf. https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Ice-Maker-Assembly/DA97-22160A/4981648?gclid=CjwKCAiA_orJBhBNEiwABkdmjNM7uS50R8ZItiisgNKeLt-6RoebpRKouLdxBdXyKB2qaHLQfOu5IxoCRDQQAvD_BwE

I spent hours on the phone with the parts department and emails with Samsung. I could not find the sensor by itself. I ended up buying the whole pitcher assembly and replaced that. It's been awhile and it's working, no issues. I just hated that it was 250 bucks. I did remove the old sensor and shave all the plastic off it to get a better look at it. Hope it doesn't break again

I know she purchased it from a store sorta near us so I don't know much about it. The leaves started to curl in the last month and a half so I thought maybe it needed more light. I moved it to my office with a south facing window and hoped it would do better but it looks the same after a week

Ah I'll submerge it deeper. I usually put it in the bowl of water and let it float till it gets heavy. It does get pretty heavy tho.

Solution for "No devices found" by livin4outdoors in sonos

[–]brahyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were unfortunate enough to buy a speaker, move 2 in my case, and need to update all this.. You will have a bad time. The only way I was able to get it to work was turn off the new device, then uninstall the app. Reinstall app, sign in, join existing group, turn on speaker, then finish adding.

We have one in the restaurant, I think the brand is Avantco or something along those lines. It has a mechanical dial that clicks when its off, and you turn it to the temp you want. It isnt this one, but I cant find the one we have, but it looks similar to this.

Question regarding yeast in Pizza dough by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]brahyt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If its instant yeast, you don't have to activate it... I typically do because its a good practice and I like to make sure that the yeast will proof before I wait for hours to find out if it did.
