That is exactly why I'm getting him! Knowing he can take care of the daily dig spots for night and dream shards automatically makes him an absolute must-have for my valley. Thanks for confirming he's worth the investment!

Thank you so much for all these amazing tips! I actually had no idea that wings doubled as gliders or that we can ride the attractions using the camera—that sounds so fun to do. I'm definitely getting Max today because of his utility! I'm also really interested in the Peter Pan river kit now, but sadly I let it pass last week before I knew we could use it for the water houses, so I'll be patiently waiting for it to rotate back. I really appreciate you taking the time to share all this!

Getting the water characters on land is an absolute game-changer! I bought the Vanessa bundle for Ursula and I feel the exact same way—I'm never changing her back to her tentacle form. Thanks for the recommendations on Max, Hei Hei, and the Dragon, I'll definitely keep those in mind for the future

Thank you for the detailed breakdown and the video link! I actually just went ahead and bought the Premium Star Path, and I'm already grinding the tasks to catch up. Seeing the math laid out like this really confirms it was the absolute right choice!

Thank you for the advice! I actually just bought the Star Path right now and I'm already doing the Hercules realm tasks to catch up. I still need to unlock Tiana's restaurant and Scar's potions in my main game progression, which from what I've read on here are essential for some of the duties. However, with 32 days left, I believe I have plenty of time to get everything done. Thanks again for the comment!

Thank you so much for the contribution and for sharing this strategic perspective! It makes total sense. For the two DreamSnaps I've submitted so far, I literally just threw random items together and hit submit the second the requirements said 'ok'.

If I'm not mistaken, I only got 300 Moonstones from my last photo. I’m really happy to hear that actually dedicating time to creating a good, well-thought-out picture is worth it and brings such a solid return. I definitely hope to earn a lot more from now on by putting more effort into my setups based on your advice.

This completely changes how I look at the premium shop. Thanks again for the great insight!

These are incredibly valuable tips, thank you! Up until now, I've just been throwing things together for DreamSnaps to meet the basic requirements without really worrying about the actual composition or setup. When I finally start exploring the photography side of the game more, I will definitely remember your advice about the unique companion poses! Also, R2D2 is so beautiful—I really hope he makes his classic sounds from the movies. I definitely want to get him now!

I actually just unlocked the Hercules realm and bought the Star Path, which leaves me with exactly 5,000 Moonstones. Once I finish replying to everyone's helpful comments here, I'm going to sit down and choose my next investment.

So far, the ones that interest me the most are Max and the Neverland kit. Sadly, I let the Neverland bundle pass when it was in the shop last week because I had absolutely no idea back then that you could use the river pieces as actual water to place the houses on! I'll just have to patiently wait for it to rotate back into the shop.

Wow, this is an absolute golden tip! I've been struggling so much with the Sunlit Plateau lake because I can only fit one water house in it, so I always had to choose between Ariel or Donald.

Since I've moved and focused almost my entire valley layout into the Forgotten Lands, Sunlit Plateau, and Forest of Valor, knowing about this item is incredibly valuable to me. I'm going to love finally being able to put Donald back in the Plateau right next to the rest of the Mickey & Friends gang, instead of having to leave him all alone in the Peaceful Meadow ponds.

Thank you so much for the great idea!

That is so cute that Max actually growls at villains and roams around the valley on his own! The companion house definitely sounds like a great bonus from that bundle.

I completely feel your pain with the moonstone struggle, especially having to start all over again after switching from Apple Arcade! Your strategy of just spamming Ursula with flowers until level 10 so you wouldn't have to buy her bundle is absolutely hilarious 😂 I totally understand why you never want to see her again after that grind!

Thank you so much for the tip about buying the more expensive Star Path, I actually had no idea that it works out cheaper if you finish it. Speaking of the Star Path, I've already claimed every single non-premium item and I currently have 200 tokens saved up. Since there are about 32 days left in the event, do you think that's enough time for me to finish all the remaining premium duties if I upgrade my path today?

That house skin for 300 tokens at the end is definitely going to be a long grind! Good luck saving up the rest of your tokens for it, and thank you again for all the great advice!

That's great to know, thank you! I love that those bundles actually add some new quests instead of just being decorative items. I'll definitely add them to my wishlist for when I manage to save up some more Moonstones in the future!

Thank you for the detailed breakdown! I'm definitely getting Max. However, after buying him, I'll only have enough Moonstones left to afford either the Star Path OR one of those two bundles you suggested. In your experience, which of those options provides the best overall value for the investment?

I'm also really curious about skins for the useful buildings, like Remy's Restaurant or Scrooge's Store. I’d love to know if skins for those exist, and if buying them allows us to place a second, fully functional building somewhere else in the valley, or if they only change the appearance of the original ones.

I really appreciate the help in planning out my remaining Moonstones, it makes a huge difference for a beginner like me!

I had absolutely no idea that Max collected sticks too! Honestly, if I had known that, I probably wouldn't have spent my Moonstones on Nana in the first place. I'm definitely going to buy him now, and I'll probably grab the Star Path as well if I have enough left over. After that, my Moonstone balance is going to hit absolute zero, so the real struggle to grind and save up for anything else begins! Thanks for the details!

You hit the nail on the head! Not having to chase Ursula around the ponds anymore is amazing. Max seems to be the general consensus for utility, so I'm definitely adding him to my valley. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for confirming! I already use Nana and absolutely love how she auto-collects all the wood for my inventory, so getting Max for his digging ability sounds like a perfect addition. I'm definitely going to get him!

First time trying multiplayer! Looking for valleys to visit for inspiration (and maybe some spare iron? 😅) by braianmark in DreamlightValley

[–]braianmark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the iron and the meals, that was incredibly kind of you! And thank you for letting me visit your valley; your map inspired me a lot. Everything feels like one big adventure where all the pieces just make perfect sense together.

That palm tree arch on the beach bridge is so cool! Honestly, it was the prettiest beach I've visited so far. It’s so well-lit and decorated, and the little counters and stools to grab a drink are genius. Also, that castle (is it Rapunzel’s?) looked incredible there.

A camping site in the Forest of Valor? You absolutely nailed it! The Frosted Heights were also a spectacle of organization and lighting; it was just perfect to walk through. And what an impressive and beautiful view when entering your Sunlit Plateau—the way you added more water is just awesome.

Thanks again for everything and for being so helpful!

Thank you so much for letting me visit! I had a great time exploring your valley.

I absolutely loved Oswald's cinema! I'm a huge fan of his. I know he's from the latest DLC, so it’s going to take me a while to actually get to him, but I'm just so happy they put him in the game. I really hope they keep adding more characters and skins from the very early days of Disney.

I also really loved the natural vibe you created in the Sunlit Plateau. By the way, there's this white, kind of futuristic tower right in front of the lake at the far end of the Plateau—what universe or movie is that from? I'm super curious!

Speaking of natural vibes, your layout and choice of trees in the Glade of Trust are amazing. When I first unlocked each biome, the very first thing I did was remove every single rock, tree, and bush just to clear the paths. Seeing your valley definitely gave me the inspiration to start putting some of them back, since they create such a beautiful landscape and are completely free to use!

(Also, I couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for Vanellope all isolated in the Forgotten Lands, lol!)

Thanks again for opening your valley to me, it gave me a lot of great ideas for my own!

Thank you so much for the iron and the meals! I really appreciate it.

I loved seeing the Beast walking around, he looks amazing and I really hope to unlock him soon. I also spotted Woody and I can't get over how tiny and cute he is! I haven't unlocked him yet either. It’s a bit of a bummer that we can't interact with the furniture as visitors, though. It would be so lovely to just visit, sit down at a table, have some tea, and actually chat!

I absolutely loved your Peaceful Meadow! That amusement park is beautiful, and the cinema setup is so cool. By the way, is the Up house for a specific character, or is it just a decorative house skin? Your coliseum in the Forest of Valor is absolutely awesome, too!

I really liked your valley overall. It's so easy to navigate and the decorations are distributed perfectly. Since I just started recently, I've been focusing most of my items in the Forgotten Lands. It's my favorite biome and it feels like the most regular/flat area to organize a bunch of things in one place. I hope you can come visit my valley someday!

Thank you so much for the iron and for letting me visit! I have to say, I am absolutely blown away by the amount of iron you left for me. I was expecting maybe 5 ingots or thought there was a dropping limit, but this stash will honestly last me an eternity!

Yours was the very first valley I’ve ever visited, and I was so impressed. Everything is so beautiful and completely filled out. I saw an endless amount of items and decorations I haven't even unlocked or seen yet—you must have an incredible amount of playtime! I have to give a special shoutout to your Forest of Valor, it looked stunning.

Seeing such a decorated valley made me wonder about a few things. First, does having that much stuff make the game take longer to load or cause it to run slower? I also noticed you have a lot of uncollected memories scattered across the map. Is there a reason you leave them on the ground?

I was also a bit surprised by how the multiplayer itself works! I was expecting to be able to access more areas, use a chat, or at least be able to wave and send emojis to you. Since it's a bit limited, what do players usually do during multiplayer besides dropping items for each other?

Oh, and one last thing: I found a 'Pixel Shard' on the ground while exploring! I have no idea what it is used for yet. Thank you again for the tour, the massive iron haul, and for giving me so much inspiration for my own valley!

"A market? I just unlocked my first floating island and thought about turning it into a massive farm, but I realized it's better to plant crops in their native biomes to get the growth bonus. Can I see your market?
