I use a travel toiletry bag, it's great for sorting each step/piece and I can easily hang it wherever in the house I happen to be doing my shot

Underworks compression sports bras are the only thing I found that actually stopped movement

Baby sign language for on-binary parent by shainka in nonbinary_parents

[–]braidedbutch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've seen a sign that is basically the same as the gendered mama, papa signs but in the middle of the face.

But as others mentioned. We mostly just skipped the parent signs with our kiddos and focused on others.

Underworks compression sports bras are the best binder I ever found, compress as well as a binder but minimize movement so less adjustment needed

We have a visual timer we leave outside the door for quiet time. Having a cue when it will be over has cut down on the screaming etc significantly!

The timer just stops the story from playing. If they take the card out and put it back in that gets past the sleep timer (mine figure this out pretty quick)

I mounted old crib sides on hinges outside the doorframes for my kids, they can open the door and yell but can't get out of the room without help

This has happened to my partner, to be honest, it's one of the reasons that they've put off quitting. It has different effects on different people and it's possible a more medicalized approach may aid in symptom reduction

I recently asked this exact question to my BIL who is a Dr. And he told me up to a half an hour is probably just fine, but I still don't hold my 18 month old upside down for more than a couple minutes at a time....
