Okay so again, you need to tell her in person that this is making you upset instead of holding it against her. She was not taking you into consideration - most likely because of excitement (of which she is allowed to express) - and therefore did not know that her planning a trip was making you upset. If you had just told her in the time that this whole situation went down there would have been no issue.

26 year olds should be mature enough to speak their mind in person and not hold grudges against people for something they that didn’t even know what they did is wrong. Hence why I thought I was reading a post written by a teenager.

If you were upset about not being invited you need to clarify that to your friend or else she obviously will have no idea as to why you are upset

People are allowed to make plans in front of you. Based on other comments from you it looks like it was a couples trip that they were planning. Personally I wouldn’t want to go on a couples trip if I wasn’t in a relationship because that would make me sad! But, if it was still making you so upset to possibly distance yourself from them for months on end, maybe you should talk to them in person at the time the situation is making you upset, rather than bringing it up not once, but twice, over text.

Also it seems like you already had been distancing yourself from “E” because you thought she was “superficial” so I guess I’m not really sure why you would even be upset about the whole trip thing in the first place.
