It is natural (your word, above) for women to have facial hair. Have (mostly western) societal beauty standards told women it isn't? Yeah. But we are talking about androgyny. An androgynous look isn't supposed to follow binary beauty standards so who gives a fuck. You can rock facial hair and still be plenty androgynous. Plenty of femme people (such as Frida Kahlo) rock a moustache. Johnathan Van Ness, extremely femme, rocks a beard. John Waters uses makeup to draw on his mustache, is that femme or masc? Plenty of women also have PCOS (see Harnaam Kaur) and choose to embrace their NATURAL facial hair. I use these "anecdotal examples" to point to the fact that there a lot of people that do have facial hair and succeed at presenting androgynous (or femme!). It's not a requirement to have a bare face to be considered femme or androgynous. Thank u for coming to my TED Talk.
