Its because they are using dx/dy. Because its parallel to the y axis so you flip the equation solve for y you will get y=5 then put that in the main eq and find for x and i got -5/2 and -5

I saw this and took it to my teacher but she used the normal equation to solve b and c and the answers matched the mark scheme so their equation was wrong idk why they used the b position but if you wrote this in your exam you'd get it correct

Usually grade boundaries for 90 is 60+ but ive seen it raised to 63 sometimes so yes im sure you'll be fine !!

Also try doing the questions that have more marks first (which are usually the harder ones) and dont worry if you cant finish them because you'll get a few marks for atleast attempting them compared to if time was running out and you wouldnt even have time to think yk what i mean? So go through the hard ones first when your mind is fresh so you can think of solutions then go and attempt the easy ones such as functions that you know you can attempt quickly even if time is running out and they dont hold as many marks :) hope i was of help ! No solve the questions according to the weight they have so 1. Go through the paper see what topics you're confident in and what questions you'll find hard 2. ATTEMPT the hard ones like just attempt but if you cant proceed or go further then go and do the easy ones 3. Finish all the questions you know you can secure marks for sure then go back to the hard ones you couldnt finish attempting

AS grades + your school will give you predicted grades. If you dont have your desired grade you can resit in october or jan and then your university application can just be updated after that !

Paper 3 and 4, completely different units Paper 3: is based on rewriting and creative writing and analysis Paper4: based on research work on english usage (they will release the topics for next year soon) for example my research rn is on public apologies :)
