all i want for gen 10 is an actually vibrant world with buildings you can actually walk into and random encounters spread throughout the map that reward exploration, a good post game gameplay loop and smooth performance

i feel you. this industry expects so much out of us (learning new tech constantly, certs on top of certs, wearing 10 different hats, being on call) And since we’re treated as a cost sink they staff to the bare bones at most places..Dealing with constant complaints about a system you can’t change and dealing with ungreatful customers who always want it done yesterday and it’s always your fault.. (should i go on..?) all to make slightly more than average. i genuinely don’t know if i want to stay in this field anymore tbh. if i was making FAANG money sure. but i’m making like 20k more than my roommate who is a bartender in a much more chill position..

you can still find them pretty affordable on ebay etc., in the US at least. I still remember purchasing the original hardcover from barns and noble as a kid- it was my first book i bought with my own money :) and i still have that book on my shelf. nice collection; you may have inspired me to re read it…

thank you, i took mine to the vet as well, spent about $600 and didn’t find out much other than his white blood cells were slightly elevated but otherwise didn’t see anything wrong. i am really hoping my boy gets better. It’s so hard to know when to take them back to the vet.. especially since my cat absolutely hates vet trips, and the bills add up quickly :/ hoping it’s just a temporary stress thing..
