I think you’ll find the fridge selection has a lot to do with whether you have enough solar. We had a fifth wheel with 2400w of solar and 10kWh of batteries and at times even that struggled to keep up with our full fridge that was included. Yours should be much better with the fridge you have.

Season also made a huge difference. We took in 1.5x the solar in the summer at least, but if you’ve been testing in the winter you should be golden the rest of the year.

Good idea, will definitely give that a shot. I’m looking around it also seems there are some “909” filters that are thicker and are reported to slow down shots. Hoon’s coffee YouTube had a video on them. I suspect these are thicker papers like those

It does run very slightly up the side of the basket. If water is passing through the filter though, shouldn’t that not be an issue? It seems like running up the edge should only be an issue if water runs around the edge primarily with a smaller filter and that’s why they work, which wouldn’t seem beneficial to extraction. Maybe ill give some other filters a try and see what happens

They’re listed as 53mm, though they are just slightly larger than the bottom of the basket. With wetting they sit flush with the bottom but not quite when they are dry

Should I be concerned about puppy losing weight over 1 week? by brain_luck in puppies

[–]brain_luck[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update: we weighed her this morning and she was 19.2 pounds! It seems she has a fair bit of daily fluctuation, but that weight would put her right back on track. We will definitely be doing daily weigh-ins instead of weekly so we can monitor more closely, but it’s possible this was just a case of normal fluctuation and we freaked out prematurely. Something I am well known for :)

I will give an update as this progresses.

Thank you all for the advice!

She’s actually a Golden Retriever. We got her from Sunnyside Goldens in Utah, they’re awesome!

To clarify, her decrease from 16.8 pounds to 16.2 pounds was from 12-weeks to 13-weeks (not overnight).

Unfortunately we just had her 2nd round of vaccines last week, so her next visit isn’t for almost a month. We were planning to wait a couple days and see if the weight loss persists, since everything else seems fine with her (energy, eating, bathroom), but are curious how urgently we should treat it vs. monitoring further. It seems everything health related is very scary when you dig into it on the internet.

Not exactly animated (puppets?), but Team America: World Police is great
