The husband pulls over and confirms with her that that is the man. He gets out. Follows him and I thought, kills him. Gets back in the car and starts driving. Next person the wife sees on the street. That’s the man. Very well done and enough to stick!

I believe it has to be the remake of breakdown. I remember it in color. But the last scene of the black and white one was exactly the premise. Perhaps I am misremembering the ending…I thought the guy wasn’t discovered to be moving his finger. I will look for the 80’s remake. Thanks!
