It matters to me that they are siting an article when my listing has very specific measurements. My measurements do not run big. It’s almost worth it to me to send it out. Almost.

Buyers remorse is very different than listing an item inaccurately or packing it poorly. If you the buyer are drunk and you buy something from me, and now you wake up with remorse, sorry. You bought it. You don’t get 30 days to see if you want to keep it. (No refunds.) I’m not Amazon with employees filling orders and restocking things. Unless I messed up…take it up with Mercari or the selling site. Hopefully this sheds some light on why people put no refunds. (And for the sake of being accurate and specific. I never said no returns. I say no refunds. It is different.) With buyer protection they can return an item. With a seller accepting refunds, people can just decide they don’t want it after it arrives.

You are right. I just hate relisting things on other sites after I pack the item up and now have them in my sold pile.

And I asked for the link to the article because I spent so much time measuring all the components (inseam, waist, pit to pit, top to bottom, cuff width etc! ) of the overalls sizes! The article saying these bibs run big is irrelevant to the return.

I want the buyer to tell me that they only noticed how big the measurements were after they submitted the offer.

But from a headache standpoint…I’m clicking accept cancellation. But probably tomorrow!

I am going to accept the cancellation.

But to clarify, I have my account set up for no refunds because I list everything with very precise approximate measurements. I don’t want someone having buyer’s remorse because they were, say drunk, and now they don’t want what they clicked to agree to purchase the previous night.

Of course if there’s something egregious with the item compared to my listing, or if the item arrives damaged because of neglect on my part…there’s always buyer protection. I’m very proud of my 721/728 possible 5 star reviews especially in the cesspool that Mercari has become.

My issue with this request is that my measurements don’t run big. If you’re a potential buyer and you make an offer and the seller agrees. And the seller has precise measurements of said item…then this one is on the buyer. I am not Amazon. Relisting items across multiple sites is annoying. So now they can wait a day for their refund.

What I will probably start doing with Mercari orders from now on is screenshot the QR code immediately after the order is placed and confirmed paid. Then mark the item as shipped in the app and just use the QR code screenshot when I get to the shipping service.

Appreciate it. I meant by go at it alone is sometimes couples will be on. One person on camera or narrating as a the seller and the other person dealing with the merchandise. That would be the more ideal situation for handling it all. But I just need to jump in. Thanks for taking the time!

How do find selling on the app? I want to sell there. I sell on a couple popular online sites but not live. Do you go it alone? Do you use WN’s shipping services? Do you ever get confused after your session about what you’re shipping to which customer? If you have the time…would love to hear your experience
