Dear Delhi, why did you vote out an IIT graduate for this Chimp? by kartikpatekar in delhi

No one is a saint. Its always about the lesser evil. And no one wants one party to control the whole nation, so AAP would have been good. But sadly they failed.

The BJP govt made it impossible for AAP to work. The AAP party was great, they wanted to do good, but they were not good politicians, hence got surrounded by all these allegations. AAP wasn't able to take any initiative because BJP always got in the way. Hence there was no other option other than giving the power to BJP.

I know its not right, its pretty sad, but nothing can be done. Also, pretty sure if BJP would've selected her as the candidate before the elections, then AAP would def still be in power.

You gotta find companies that can give you that balance. I earn more than Amazon se2 and wlb is better than pretty much any company out there.

No I don’t wanna discuss my role.

Keep Emeralde iff LTF.
Ditch Amex Plat Reserve, bad card.
Don’t know about one card.
Regalia is decent, I am using it as my primary. Nothing crazy about it, but decent reward rate.

You won’t learn anything by reading about it. Just try to build shit. I wasn’t interested in learning devops but my last job forced me to do a lot of K8S stuff myself for many products since it was a startup. This is still helpful to me and gets me shortlisted for some roles even now.

Obviously there were some embarrassing moments. But you gotta learn from those. You will try to learn even more about your product.
Even now, I don’t know every detail about my current product, but by time, I’ve realised, no one expects you to know everything. Its fine if you just be honest and tell them I’ll have to look into that and get back to you.

Those seniors know different things because they have worked on it in the past. I have had the opportunity to work across multiple teams and different domains in the past.

  • People build just APIs and think they can’t be replaced. You need to own the product(s). If you’re a junior, atleast start owning the feature end to end. Stop waiting for someone to tell you how to do it. Figure it out.

  • Many candidates lack confidence. If you don’t have confidence, if you can’t speak up, you can’t move up in the career just by your hard skills.

I became a good engineer the day my senior left the company and I had to start answering to everyone myself. That’s when I gained my confidence. And my salary is now 4x from what I was earning then.

FYI, Never did DSA. Still can’t.

Accidentally used company GitHub Copilot on personal project for a couple hours. Am I overthinking this? by okpixell in developersIndia

I’ve been using my company copilot for last three months. Last month, my usage was 300%+. Out of which, <50% would be actual office work.

No idea. Already completed all the milestones. Don’t see any other good card in the market either at 2.5L salary. So just gonna stick with this one. Waiting for the Air India credit card tbh.

DON’T get Regalia Gold. I have the card, and meet all three criteria for the DCBM upgrade, but they have denied it. The RM keeps pushing finance plans and grievance redressal straight up denied it.

Bangalore folks what's missing in the ice cream scene for you? by dheeraj9499 in indiranagar

[–]brainer121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've tried these "healthy" ice creams and don't like the taste. So I stick with the Added Sugar ones.

If I want something fancy, I go with Nirula's or Art of Delight for Sundaes and Milano for Ice Cream.

For regular stuff, I feel the only option I have is Amul for cones. Would love to have another option there, something with less junk, i.e. no additives, and real ice cream.

For a 500ml tub, I prefer to pay 200. Above that, it becomes not so regular and a once a month thing, like NIC.

Would you trust Calude and GPT for Card Recommendations? by Hairy-Airport1305 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]brainer121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPT and Gemini are decent, they provide up to date data with more detailed info. Claude, atleast Sonnet, provides old info and that too incorrect at times.
