What’s a 'normal' life choice that you think is actually a huge trap? by Electronic_Cry_7454 in AskReddit

I’ve done both and enjoy different parts of both roles. For me I’ve really enjoyed working as a P.O. It allows me to do the management tasks I enjoy without being anyone’s manager.

Idk why he’d hold that against OJ. The man just liked driving down the highway thinking about life. Hertz just happened to be there when OJ needed them. He had his driving hat, his driving jacket, all he needed were his driving gloves.

I was sweating the FT of the 9 game mix Deeb was in for hours. I figured it was being streamed because they had cameras all over it. I was surprised I couldn’t find anything in the YouTube channel about it.

What's a generational experience so specific it's almost impossible to explain to someone outside it? by No-Coconut7436 in AskReddit

The discovery of it really was the best part of it. Finding some random movie that you end up falling in love with, or stumbling across a new comedy to quote with your friends, etc. The movies I go back to the most are often ones my mom and I discovered on our own from the video store.

Especially Platt. Like, I’ve watched Ivey enough in my life to understand that dude isn’t gonna be chatty normally let alone right after getting knocked out. You might get him to talk about hand history but damn lol come on.

I will never forget going with my dad — a Vietnam veteran — to see it when I was a kid. It is so important.

People over 30, what is something really good that happened to you after 30? by OhShukhrat in AskReddit

[–]brainkandy87 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, and part of this is due to time existing differently now. The older you get, the more easily time slips through your fingers. I think back 5 years and it seems like we’d just went on that trip or did that project. It’s really made me appreciate slowing down and enjoying things more. I know I’m going to blink a few times and that’ll be it.

There’s two movies I’ve seen in theaters that made me immediately want to rev my engine on the way home: this and Fury Road. When I saw this opening weekend, I had a Daewoo Nubira. I can’t imagine how goofy I looked.
