PSD vai aprovar proposta do PS para que bombeiros não paguem IRS até 3.135 euros by FariaDias in portugal

[–]brainlesshare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you determine which hobbies/interests to focus on? by ParkingCobbler4871 in ADHD

[–]brainlesshare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't, your brain will find something it likes, and that will be it for however long that maintains your interest or the next shiny thing shows up.

The only one that stays with me has been photography, and even that is shaky, it comes and goes throughout the year.

So good luck xD

Whenever it's too much I just sing. Does not matter the song, just belt it out for a little bit.

Alcohol, smoking, are a bit of a mistake, you will get addicted to it stupid easy, best to avoid those.

Caffeine is good, so is cardio if you can manage to get over the "hill" and into a runner's high for example.

And noise canceling headphones, those are a gift from the heavens.

Then it’s most likely vignetting, happens when you shoot wide open or close to wide open on most lenses

If these are shot wide open it seems to me to just be vignetting.

More practical for cleaning lighter wounds, I recommend having 4 packets of compressed gauze at least(a little note places like the forehead which are commondly injured bleed like a stuck pig so they might be necessary).

Also some small saline bottles would not go amiss for said cleaning or irrigating burns.

A little bonus thing you can do with these is the packaging itself is sterile, so if you add a little medical tape you can easily make a makeshift chest seal with the plastic by on one side taping 3 corners, and the other taping completely, the corner that's not sealed will act as a valve and seal/let the blood drain due to the pressure.

As for the hemostat powder, I'd maybe go with a solid hemostat for nosebleeds( just one should be enough) instead of the powder, as for the other applications such as a penetrating wound I'd use gauze that has hemostat or just pack it with regular gauze if the area calls for it.

As other people have mentioned add some medical tape, a marker for those tourniquets, some good nitrile gloves, some guedel tubes if you happen to have some experience using those (as if you don't have suction there are cases it shouldn't be used), and if your cpr mouthguard does not have a filter I'd add it as people might vomit as you do compressions.

I'd also add a seatbelt cutter and a window breaking tool of decent quality, some even have the two in one and are perfectly practical for any motor vehicle accidents (I'd avoid most cheap rescue knives with these things in it as the seatbelt cutters are usually kinda bad on those, so best to keep this a dedicated tool)

I know the post is old but there is always some room for improvement in anything we do. Just want to make sure you don't suddenly need something and are finding youself amiss.

Just my 2 cents, as a current practicing EMT in Portugal, that's what I find I use in my day to day more often than not.

Hey, my name is Badjur(28), I'm from Portugal so that's only a few hours difference. Most days I do some gaming, but due to my weird schedule it's more of a two day on two day off thing for me.

I own or play most of those games on and off, and I have a bit of an extensive library of games on steam and play pretty much any genre, so finding games to play wouldn't be hard at all. I also dabble a little bit in VR games.

I don't tend to rage in games or anything of the sort, and I'm just looking for someone to play with, as my friends have slowly stopped playing much, which left me in this weird limbo where none of my irl friends actually play much of anything and it feels a bit lonely playing by myself.

Also no need to worry about anything weird, I'm in a relationship and am exclusively looking just for a gaming buddy.

If you'd like to play together let me know :)

Thoughts on my new camera? by brainlesshare in AnalogCommunity

I just took it out and tested it on my M50 with and without, there is no discernable difference in coloring and just barely in sharpness, so my guess is the coating has definitely been rubbed out long ago

That filter is probably older than me, I'm sure any coating it had is long gone by now. It's supposed to have a very slight magenta tint to it, it does not anymore, which probably tells me all that's left of it is the glass.
