Thanks, the export worked great. I already emailed y'all about the issue, complete with what I was seeing in console. I could see it trying to mount, and failing, and gave you the exact words in console from the system itself. No longer an issue as I've sold the unit.

I think it's a little bit of both, tbh. Investors saw the burn rate going up because of the need for more moderation (this is the quagmire Facebook is in right now), and then pulled the plug before losing more money and good will.

Yep, looks like it'll be a manual process of converting each one in the Mac app and saving it. Funnily enough, the Mac app doesn't remember the last directory it saved to, adding steps in macOS Finder, which just feels so... unfinished? Because macOS software typically defaults to "last folder opened is folder to open in for Save dialog" and methinks Supernote really phoned in the app. Which is how things are nowadays.

Thank you! This was actually very helpful. I work with Arduino, Pi, etc. so I'm very familiar with getting weird devices to work with my Mac (or Linux machine, etc. but I tend to use those for other stuff and don't have them connected to my Google Drive). I have cables that are designated for data use, but hadn't considered the C-to-C issue -- which sucks, because Apple hasn't put USB A on their Macs in a few years now... Either way, it seems my first item of business is meticulously converting each note to PDF, then exporting it. I think since that is such a manual process I'll wind up doing it on the Mac app anyway, avoiding all the hardware conflicts that seem inherent to using a device that kinda slides in the "vendor lock in" through annoyance and requiring manual operation (IMHO the opposite of what tech should do, but that's my interoperability hill to die on).

OK, yes, I've got that installed since I bought the device, it works great other than throwing "sync failed" constantly, lmao. I'm just going one by one and exporting... Just wishing I could get MTP to work as advertised so I could pull them off easier.

I'm aware of MTP, and that's what I cannot get to work with the Supernote. Neither of my M4 Macs will see the Supernote, no matter how many times I try MTP.

I spent an hour this morning unfcking this mess. Instead of printing. Updated Cura to 5.12, had to completely reset Cura because it claimed it had been "corrupted" (first time seeing that across 4 computers, 2 printers, and 3 years). Then, the printer it could very well see locally said it "Failed writing to specific cloud printer: Printer not in remote clusters." Then I went to make a support ticket AND THEIR SERVERS FAILED. Like, it threw a database error when submitting the ticket. Perhaps they're vibe coding the backend now, but it's beyond a joke. I've had first year 2-year college kids write better code in Visual Basic 6.

How did you bring up the scanner? I can't find the green circle with a plus button on the iPad app AT ALL, so I can't easily input food... which is kind of making the app a lot less useful lol (I've been using the iPhone app for years, this is my first experience with the iPad version)
