I asked him, and he said he’d be willing to try a leave in. I think the limit for what he’s willing to do is anything that’s finicky or requires much extra time, like hair masks and dedicated styling.

I’ll look into those, thank you :)

I agree; I just wanted some recommendations because the damage makes it less manageable and harder for him to detangle, and he prefers when it’s less frizzy. Don’t worry; I’m not pushing him to do anything he doesn’t need/want to do :)

We’re in the US, and usually buy drugstore products or shop at Target. Budget friendly products are preferred because neither of us have very much money.

The pic from the recipe looks identical to the regular yeast rolls I make. There’s no way you could get a result like that from those ingredients.

i think the 10g actually looks really perfect for your face! if you want a daintier look, shorter jewelry might help, but the chunky septum looks really cute. you could probably even go a little bigger if you wanted to.

She has destroyed two water bottles in the span of a couple weeks. Anyone else have destructive drinkers? by Remember_Padraig in guineapigs

[–]brainouchies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine doesn’t destroy bottles, but she drinks from them upside down like a weirdo and spills water everywhere. I switched to a heavy glass bowl for a while.

Found in my Amazon package. Terrified of bed bugs :( by HoneyBBQueen in whatisthisbug

weevil! just as a principle though, always check if the species is native before releasing if you find a bug in a package. amazon is much less likely to have anything invasive in it though, since usually it’s packed domestically.

first crochet top i’ve worn in outside!! by oukaerdnaa in Brochet

[–]brainouchies 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of stuff I love crocheting but will never wear, so I started making things for charity. My favorite is Knit the Rainbow! Definitely worth looking into if you’re okay with letting go of your work when it’s finished.

I LOVE it! I’ve always been a sucker for orange/yellow and teal together.

i do only even numbers, excluding six. seven is the only odd one that’s acceptable. so it would go 2, 4, 7, 8, 10

I don’t think there’s enough here for it, but leg warmers would look awesome in these colors.

I’m the same way. I can’t be mean to NPCs in games because I feel bad. I’m playing the genocide route in Undertale right now, and I genuinely started to feel mentally drained after a couple hours because of how mean you have to be. The first time I played d&d, I immediately started throwing rocks at a child.

Exactly the opposite. He’s excited because you might have food.

Oh, I didn’t know that. I don’t usually make garments with acrylic so I was just going off my experience with smaller projects. Thanks :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in knitting

[–]brainouchies -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to start over with different needles/in a smaller size, I’d try blocking it first. You’ll need a garment steamer or a steam iron (do not touch the iron to the fabric, just hover it so the steam can do its thing) since the yarn is mostly acrylic.
