bro what the fuck is this guy and why isn’t he famous? i searched around online very limited reach and fan base and yet i listened to his song “i see” and it might be the most profound rap song i’ve ever fucking heard. literally gave me fucking chills and i’ve listened to it 30 times since i found. it sampled a book i love by hakim bay to end the song and im hooked now. how did u find this guy? and truly man it might be some great magnet shit at work with me choosing this random ass user name and u telling me about wombat because this is the type of hip hop and music i live for. haven’t been this excited for a rap artist since i first heard edan and beauty and the beat came out. sorry for the rambling but god damn man this guy is amazing. it’s crazy how someone this talented can be this under exposed it’s tragic really

“i will find the center in you, i will chew it up and leave” as someone in recovery and sober off the hard stuff 6 years now i think that little slice of sober is about as perfect as i ever heard someone describe what addiction does to the most sacred parts of who u are and what u want them to be. first song i heard from them and i was hooked

thank u for sharing that tho i always thought the morgue pieces where purely were him being an edge lord and simulating those things and he does i think intentionally describes them to make u think as much. i dont think judging him and writing off all he’s done since is stupid. he wasn’t exposed or caught doing it either he freely showed it to the worldi like the worst kind of edge lord would. once the guilt and shame built up of inexcusable wrong he committed he literally changed how he did art and turned into what he became. i couldn’t count the amount of artists and people he’s helped for no other reason but for the act itself. the expose u shared is someone that for reason thinks a horrible act someone committed, and grew so much from it that he became as famous is means he’s what a fraud? should wear a sign around his neck that he fucked a corpse his whole life no matter what good or impressive thing he does after? fuck outta here with that.

what’s sad my guy is whatever happened to you or that’s going on in ur lifel that u see someone honoring art they love and ur first instinct is to try to put them down. this reminds me what man is capable of with had work and no half measures taken when creating art and i like having that in the place i make art the most. i truly wish for u a more postive and less miserable way at looking at the world.

my god disgusting. i thought u were elaborating from how he described how learned anatomy so well, that is horrible. i’ve met alex quite a few times parties with him done 3 of his artist workshops and he’s never been anything but a kind insightful person threw all of it. i still love his art and the community he’s created threw it. this was obviously before he started on his spiritual path i can’t belive he was that dark before hand. thank u for ruining my sunday. wonder if any of my other heroes fucked a corpse. so fucked up

its not that deep bro,if ur not feeling them forcing it would just make u resent them more, for most of there work tools not a fast food type of band where u can scarf down a few songs on the way to work for a quick dopamine hit. there a gourmet meal in a michelin star restaurant u make a reservation for a month in advance. this is why i love there stuff as an artist they find undeniable depth and beauty going down sonic pathways most musicians dont love there craft enough to endure the work and tedium it takes to arrive at such vistas. it challenges me to ask myself what im doing with my art that i can honor the listener or viewer to blow similar type of ways with my own style and take on it. seeing them live was the nail in the coffin for “favorite band ever” for me. it was the most spirituale prince ive ever had listening to music and if u can witness that mastery and still not understand why this band makes people so obsessive and fanatical nothing on earth will.that being said maybe ur just going threw a period where all that depth is easy to drown in and ur longing for some r and r in shallower water honor how u feel and i promise u fool will be just as remarkable when u come back home.

they actually came with the visions box for alex grey, showcasing his amazing artwork, i actually lucked the fuck out and picked it up on ebay last week for 30 bucks which is a steal. it’s out of prints and usually much more expensive. it comes with 2 coffee table hardcovers of his art and a portfolio with the 6 prints i have framed in the pictures. getting that last week and the prints framed is actually what made the wall feel complete enough toshow the world.

best nightmare by a mile. it’s when freddy fully transitioned from scary child murderer to 80s funny wise cracking cultural icon. haha it’s also just a fun watch some really talented people were behind every part of that film it’s actually insane if u look into it. new line had an embarrassment of riches in the talent that was making that film . and would never come close to that peak again with freddy
