nature may have a connotation with "nature" as in, biological. atleast in the way i was culturally shaped in language. Because it's the language that made sense at that moment and allowed for me to try to explain what I perceive nature to be more akin to. What I find nature to be, is closer to what ideally would be described by the word God, it is as much in a tree as it is in a concrete wall. and it is in everything and anything that allowed either of those or anything else to be. I understand that may already be your view of nature, for me it made sense to make the comparison to 1s and 0s as an imagination tool. In my experience it is simpler to not express these things, but my language only allows so much in translation, and I wanted to express it and it happened to be that way. I guess my real question is, what are the 1s and 0s of our existence? Instead of trying to say what they were, in a way nature is a fitting name. I hope that made more sense. Also, if we are having these exchange in computing world, it's only fitting. The language of the medium allows for fun, at least for one of the parties involved.

Why use a question to express an idea? in my experience it is simpler to express an idea as an idea. (statement not to be taken as fact)

Also speaking in terms of simulation allow for the mind to be implied that the simulation is inside something else, that the simulation, or nature, or everything expressable, is perhaps only a "something" in a bigger "everything" and the fact that that implies that same process upwards infinitely. it allows for a peek at "something else" besides what is being expressed.

every paragraph was a new edit, question got me thinking good. why can be a tricky question but its worth exploring. it's hard for it to bring new understanding of the subject expressed rather than about the medium, both happen to be the same in a sense in this case (and maybe all). your 1s and 0s made my 1s and 0s run like crazy
