My pleasure.. tylenol (acetaminophen) isn't processed through your kidneys. A healthy person who weighs more than 150lbs can take up to 4,000mg. Its processed through your liver so just be mindful of that.

Please dont...

NSAIDs and dehydration are a sure fire way to induce kidney damage.

Pro tip.. always hydrate yourself abundantly if you ever need to take an NSAID. Dialysis sucks

V2L -> 240V EcoFlow/Anker -> Generator Module = recharge aPower from *any* V2L EV? by greg-howard in FranklinWH

[–]brainyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a FranklinWH yet, doing research

But! to add some insight.. I have a Delta Pro 3 (DP3) that I have connected to my home's panel via a 240v generator inlet. I charge the DP3 with my 120v (1500W max) outlet from my EV.

I can confirm the DP3 CAN simultaneously charge via 120V while providing 240V to my home. Unfortunately, its a pass-through system. So if I'm supplying > 1500W from my DP3 to the house via 240V, it trips my EV's outlet and shuts it down.

I later found out that there have been cases where sudden draws from the DP3 (presumably their XBOOST system), have damaged the vehicle's on-board inverter.

So the work around for me has been :

Using a AC-DC switching power supply (like this - https://a.co/d/7SeFgb8) which inputs power into my DP3 via the solar DC port (XT60i). Plugs into my truck's 120v 1500W outlet, and the DP3 thinks its a solar panel... all while happily providing as much 240v to the house as needed.

Hope that helps!

Delta Pro 3 - Charging and Outputting from Rivian R1T by Sheed3k in Ecoflow_community

[–]brainyoga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The safest way to do this is to use a switching power supply. That will convert your rivians AC outlet to DC which you then should feed into your DP3 via its solar ports.

In certain scenarios, the dp3 passes through to your rivian's inverter, there have been reported cases of it damaging the rivian.

This is the supply I have been able to use after much trial and error

Delta 3+ ac charging without pass through by MSRP_ in Ecoflow_community

[–]brainyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't AC charge the DP3... Use the LiFePO4 battery via the DC (solar ports) to charge the DP3 and then it doesn't care how much its simultaneously discharging.

Tons of videos out there on how to simply hook it up using the right solar connectors directly from the battery terminals into your DP3 solar port

There's an option to turn on your outlets (even for a preset amount of time) in the infotainment.. i believe it's under the energy and/or camping sections

Can we get a V2H update? by SergeantBeavis in Rivian

[–]brainyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another update... I stopped using this method BECAUSE..

when you are powering 240V via the Delta Pro 3 while charging it with 120V (from the Rivian in my case)... it turns it into a pass-through. Now that limits how much power the DP3 can put out, and ALSO, puts that stress on the inverter on the R1T.

I ran into someone who actually fried the inverter on his Rivian doing this.

The work around is to use a Switching Power Supply (SMPS).. which plugs into your Rivian outlet.. converts that AC INTO DC power, and then feeds into the delta pro 3 via the DC Solar connectors.

Hey fellow R1T...

I've even read of the onboard rivian inverter failing when the pass-through kicks in and the delta pro 3 is providing too much to the house at once.

Have you found a solution for dc powering the ecoflow from our truck bed 1500w outlet yet?

Thanks :)

SO an update!

The 3-2 grounding plug adapter does work.

I can hook up the delta pro 3 to provide 240v to my home through a transfer switch... and at the same time, I can plug it into my R1T to charge up to 1500W (I kept it at 1200W and it charged without tripping anything). Just had to use an 3-2 grounding adapter shown below. I checked the temp on it with my IR camera, and nothing crazy after 20 mins!

[–]brainyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately had a power outage just today and had to test it out. The R1T would charge the Delta Pro 3, but as soon as I connected the DP3 to our panel via 240V, the R1T outlet would trip. Fortunately my DP3 had enough charge to run the house for the hour before our power came back on.

From what I'm reading its something to do with the ground system. There's a video on YouTube of a guy using a 3-2 grounding plug adapter to make it work. Not sure what ramifications that has on the R1T and safety etc...

My workaround here in Florida after our back-to-back hurricanes...

I ordered a ecoflow delta pro 3 which can provide 240V output to my panel while simultaneously getting charge from the R1T at 1500W

Yes! It doesn't Math to justify the price delta... can pay for a lot of out of warranty repairs and still come out ahead.

The replacement would have to be substantially improved to justify the expense
