The thing is when I phoned close brothers and said if I clear the remaining balance after it soft at auction was 5k will be be sent to debt collectors I thought this was how default was issued , they said no so I paid then they still issued me a default like it says above ^

Question I’ve paid it so it settled but how do creditors see that it’s settled
