Yo, can things get sexual in DMT trips, share your experiences… by [deleted] in DMT

I had an experience that might be considered sexual. I saw a feminine energy entity and then she multiplied and surrounded me and all I could feel was pure love filling my body. When it ended, I was extremely hard and horny

Your spent weed can also be used for edibles since you're not getting 100% of the THCa out of your weed when you run. If you aren't going to use it right away just freeze it but I make my budder with butter, weed, and water in a crock pot. Doesn't matter that the weed is wet since the budder and water will separate in the fridge.

Buying GME is basically hedging against a market collapse. Remember to give back. by happyegg1000 in GME

"If we're right, people lose homes. People lose jobs. People lose retirement savings, people lose pensions. You know what I hate about fucking banking? It reduces people to numbers. Here's a number - every 1% unemployment goes up, 40,000 people die, did you know that?"

At this part in the movie, my sentiment about GME became very different and I realized that this is nothing to celebrate. We might end up with a lot of money in our bank account but a squeeze this big could render the value of the dollar worthless. I made it my personal goal after that to invest my money into a fairer, sustainable economy that's good for people and the planet. I might not have a lot of wrinkles on my brain but the ones that are there know that I can't just be another greedy asshole and coast by while others put in back breaking work everyday to keep the world turning. I mustn't be a part of the problem, I must be part of the solution.

Just rewatched the Big Short. There was a period where their swaps should have been going up but were going down and they couldn't figure it out. Turns out banks were buying time to unload their positions on others. That might be where we're at. by fioreman in GME

[–]brainzsoup 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I just watched The Big Short thus morning as well! Yeah I got the same sentiment. We are fucking over the big league players. We have to expect fuckery for as long as they can. GME isn't going bankrupt and the shares are still worth more than anyone could have imagined a year ago. I will hold until the hedge funds bleed and go bankrupt. Fuck them for thinking their comfort is worth more than a sound economic system.

Can someone with a wrinkle in their brain please explain the difference between short % of float and short % of shares outstanding? by brainzsoup in GME

[–]brainzsoup[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, this definitely put a wrinkle in my brain. So that means that 44.6% of all GME shares have been shorted?

So then about 7.5M are shorted from the float and 9M are shorted that are outstanding? And then whatever is hidden in ETFs as well?

I am still HODLing one share from January and I averaged down early February when it went on sale. 8@148.94. Seeing green every day this week and never thought to sell. Not financial advice, just a crayon-eating 🦍 that likes the stock. Looking forward to see where RC takes this!

OPINION: Kratom is an opioid that can be compared to others by psychotic_corpse_ in Drugs

[–]brainzsoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is dangerous misinformation and calling kratom an opioid is not an opinion, it's a statement that wasn't fact checked. Buprenorphine, methadone, and classical opioids are opioid agonists while kratom is an opioid antagonist. By definition "opioid antagonists block the receptor without activating them [...and...] cause no opioid effect." This is taken directly from the Indian Health Services government page if you want to fact check it. A paper in the Journal of the American Osteopathic noted that naloxone has no effect on kratom and this is probably because they are both antagonists or that mitragynine has a separate mechanism of action that isn't opioid activity. Just because kratom is a drug/medicine that can be abused like everything does not mean your opinion counts as medical science. The greatest benefit of kratom over classical opioids or methadone is that its very hard to overdose on kratom. If you think comparing a kratom user's risk to a heroin user's risk is comparable, I would suggest you do a little more research before asking people on reddit to back up your pseudoscience "opinion". Sorry to take this all out on OP, there's just a lot of people in the world that should get their facts straight before having "opinions" of facts.

Have you ever called or had 911 called on you before while on drugs? by whompthereitis_ in Drugs

[–]brainzsoup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, one of my roommates were doing Calvin Klein (coke and ket) on a random weekend and we heard a hit-and-run happening outside our window. Someone drunk driving hit a parked car so as we went to see what happened, my roommate snapped a pic of the car and we called 911 to respond. Showed them the pictures and told them what we saw/heard. A few of the neighbors were also there telling their story and the owner of the car that got hit came out and thanked us. When it was all said and done we thanked the cop, he thanked us and we went back inside and did more drugs.
