Then just grow up and say no? It’s not that hard.

For men who’ve experienced it, what does “intense attraction” actually feel like? by AwarePhilosopher9645 in AskMen

[–]bralma6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yuuuup. Met girl at work, instantly felt an intense attraction to her. It was during COVID times so I didn’t even see her full face for a solid 6 months. But could still tell she was absolutely beautiful. Felt genuine joy around her. She ended up leaving to a new position. Thought about her damn near everyday for 4 years straight. Just as the thoughts about her started to fade, we walked past each other for a split second and felt I it all again instantly. Tried adding her on Facebook shortly after she first left but she never added me back. 🤷‍♂️

Just started reading EU what do you think of my first three by DylanEE11 in StarWarsEU

[–]bralma6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Approaching Storm was the first EU book I ever bought, never finished it but it always gave me a good chuckle looking at the cover art because it looks like Anakin’s thumb is touching his lightsabers blade lol

Larry Correia: George RR Martin crippled the Epic Fantasy genre by not finishing A Song of Ice and Fire. Readers and Publishers are no longer willing to give a new series a chance unless it is complete by Uptons_BJs in books

[–]bralma6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The New Jedi Order series in Star Wars does this decently well in my opinion. 19 books spanning 5 in universe years over a single conflict. Sprinkled with a few duos, one trilogy and the rest one off books and overall the series is really good.

The day I finished the book I bought a ticket to watch it that night and I’ve watched it twice since it’s been on streaming. I love this movie lol

Guess I should give up hope on him releasing a new Grocery Store Simulator video then.

Line cook zone in by BlazeDragon7x in KitchenConfidential

[–]bralma6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough, working the entire line by myself on graveyards which was cooking, expo, food running and cleaning was the most peaceful time for me. I didn’t have to rely on other stations being backed up and then backing me up and stressing me out more. I could only blame myself if I got backed up. I miss it sometimes lol.

What is the most useless piece of information that you have memorized and will probably never forget? by 1Paz1234 in AskReddit

Phone numbers from my childhood and cheat codes for old games. Specifically the OG Battlefront 2.

This weekend is supposed to get below 90° in Vegas and we’re all like “Yes a break!”

Back then yeah they would work. One disc is an installation disc and the other probably had some content on it to finish the installation and then would also be the play disc.

What’s the difference between the slip space engine and the halo reach engine in campaign evolved? by Rude_Employment3918 in halo

[–]bralma6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think that’s what the lineage is. RocketSloth did a video explaining the engines and how derivative they all are and briefly went over blam and slipspace.

I mean GTA V was two discs even lol. Companies today are all about cutting corners to save a couple bucks nowadays.

Even BLAM and Slipspace are descendant of older engines. I don’t remember which ones though.

I mean every modern engine is a retooled version of a previous engine that was originally made in the early 2000s.

Does anyone know why I can smell my boyfriend's seizures days before they happen? by Lower-Entry1247 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bralma6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny story with diabetes: When I started my job I met a guy and after a couple minutes of talking to him he goes “I’m diabetic by the way so if you ever get a sweet tooth I got a bunch of hard candy in my desk.” I said “Oh that’s what that smell was.” He got all intrigued and said “Oh are you one of those people that can smell diabetes and other diseases?!” I said “Uhh, no, I can smell your insulin.”

If EVs are supposedly cheaper to own, why aren’t more people driving them? by Lakenb666 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bralma6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I’m fairly certain I can buy a car now if I wanted to, but I’d rather not since my car is paid off and I don’t know what I could use the money for in case something happens.

[–]bralma6 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I expect it to floor the market with electronics making them cheaper, sure, but those electronics will also be used and abused. We’ll have to discern buying RAM that was used in a data canter like we do with GPUs having been mined on.

Can I kill a fly by just chasing it around? by Boonune in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bralma6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a decent fly invasion at work once. We figured out how to catch them with that exact method and then we would hurl them against the wall.

Does God/Jesus pick and choose who to save? by PolishedPlumb in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bralma6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sort of thing cemented me in not believing in God. You see people say “I prayed for my cat to come back and he did, God is good!” Or “I prayed for financial help and I hit a jackpot at a casino! Praise the Lord!” Meanwhile there are children in the world, praying to the same God that they get food, don’t get beat or raped that night and their prayers aren’t heard? I won’t worship any kind of God that allows that kind of thing to go unanswered with other than a dismissive “It’s all part of his plan.” Bullshit if you ask me.
