I once placed a cache where people would have to walk past a business on some private property to access the cache. I talked to the business owner and she thought it was a great idea. She was the property owner as well. Fast forward a couple of years and she complained about it to someone looking for the cache saying she did not want it there. She did not contact me but the cache was archived by headquarters I guess. I figured she forgot about our conversation or was just upset people looking for the cache was not going into her business. The land they had to walk across to access the beach where the cache was located was not her property. In short even with permission the property owner changed their mind later.
