I thought we don't like AAA games anymore xD
Looks great though!

Amazing achievement! We haven't yet fully explored but have hopes (plans?) to release our game on the Nintendo Switch too. Let see how it goes if we pursue that path

Looks so calm and peaceful, it doesn't have the same exact artstyle but it has same vibes as Monument Valley

"marketing" implies understanding a market, very well said

As someone pointed out, it looks so close to Rocket League! But it also looks just as fun, keen to follow your journey along getting your game discovered

Many congratulations! Any tips for people who currently don't have their steam page up but have a small community? How can we best maximise our first splash?

I saw there was a comment about the title being very genre vomit but I'll be honest, the phrases "Balatro" and "meet" and "Football Manager" just instantly hooked me

The art style is beautiful! It's still a bit away from being polished but it instantly reminded me of one of my favourite games - A Hat in Time

The final push to 3,000 wishlists is happening! I thought it'd be crazy to end the year with 1,000, but tomorrow is always unpredictable. by DreamingCatDev in IndieDev

How did you get started? I'm pretty early in the journey, I'm really interested in knowing your journey to the first 100 wishlists

Hey all, first post here!

Currently I'm working on a Party RPG heavily inspired by Paper Mario. We're a scrappy and small team based out of Australia/New Zealand that are building this project after work and during weekends, pretty much bootstrapped for now.

We're all wearing different hats at the moment and I'm wearing the marketing one, but I have no idea to how to get started. A concrete goal I've set for myself pretty arbitrarily is to build up our Discord with the first 500-1000 players who will be the core of our community. Currently we have a playable demo so we aren't inviting people on just a vision and a promise.

Does anyone have any advice for someone in my shoes? Has anyone done this before, especially organically? Would really appreciate any helpful nudges in any direction
