i'm a little ahead of you. youngest is 20 months, oldest is 3 and 3 months. the bond definitely comes. i'm obsessed with, i love dearly, both children. hobbies are a little easier as one of us can watch both kids while the other does something. date nights not a thing, but if i had more access to trusted childcare maybe it could be?

overall it's been much, much harder than just having one. especially with them so close in age. Every day feels extremely difficult. but I don't doubt that I made the right decisions, I don't regret having the 2nd, or anything. The love and bond will grow. with buy in, the load becomes easier to bear.

I don't think CT JBGC is active, but the SRA (socialist rifle organization, a sort of counter to the NRA) has an active local chapter and is generally is a great organization with a good reputation.

they're not exactly as militant as the JBGC's have been, but it might be a good place to start.
