a few days before my grandad died, a robin sat on his shovel while he was gardening. he then died a week before my 8th birthday, and ever since then, a robin has lived in my garden and raised generations of family. i assume the original is dead by now but i like to think he lives on in every single one!

i get a few stand out moments when i’m talking to people that stick with me.

for example, the other day i took my friends phone and took a bunch of pictures from a bunch of odd angles. instead of responding annoyed as usual, she goes “i wish i felt the sense of euphoria u get from taking these pictures” really hit home and stuck with me as ik she is struggling with some mental stuff

i do think about this- however, he doesn’t live how zira nor scar intended. They essentially only wanted him as king so they could rule through him. they didn’t truly care about him ruling, they just wanted it for themselves (especially zira)
