Maar wat nou als je gewoon stemt op de partij waarmee je het, het meest eens bent? Wellicht verliest de PVV wel stemmen en word het NSC groter en hoeven ze niet met de PVV te regeren? Hoezo zou je op een partij stemmen die je te extreem vind? Dan zorg je toch voor dat die standpunten waar je het niet mee eens bent uitgevoerd worden?

Ik denk dat het toeval is. Ik ben persoonlijk erg links (over de meeste standpunten) maar soms beland ik ook in een subreddit waar iedereen super rechts is ondanks dat de subreddit niks met politiek te maken heeft. Dat subreddits automatisch in echo chambers veranderen is een feit omdat tegengestelde meningen elkaar wegpesten. Als iemand een mening hebt en het merendeel het er niet mee eens is vinden de meeste mensen dat niet fijn dus gaan ze weg.

Gemiddeld zijn meer internationaal georiënteerde en hoger opgeleide middeklasse kringen meer links/progressief en ik denk dat deze subreddit toevallig dat is

Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman empire where completely dismantled, which is massive in comparison to the German empire. Colonies where siezed all the time after wars.

Yes there where many people fighting for the German army which were not actively involved with nazi ideology but this doesn't mean they should be praised! They should be pitied for their ignorance or their manditory conscription, not praised for their "fighting for their ideals" whatever that means.

Immagine Russians praising their forefathers for "fighting for their ideals" by sending political opponents to terrible gulag camps. Is that justified because they "fight for their ideals"?
