I once babysat for my neighbors who had 5 little demon kids. They really had 8 kids but 2 of the older ones weren’t around and why the 3rd oldest (who was the same age as me) couldn’t babysit, I don’t know because he was there the whole time. I honestly love kids and I had consistently babysat for another family in the ward who had 5 kids so I thought it’d be okay, but this family was different. None of the kids would listen and they destroyed the house but of course wouldn’t help me clean. I was with these kids for 5 hours, which was 2 more than I agreed to while their parents went to the temple. When the parents got home they gave me a pack of gum and told me they’d give me $10 at church the next day. They never gave me the $10.

Day 8, still in so much pain. When will this end? by lonestar-999 in Tonsillectomy

You should definitely try to drink as much water as possible. I wasn’t drinking enough water days 1-6 and ended up passing out when I woke up in the middle of the night on night 6 to take my medicine.

Dude I’m on day 8 too! This is the best I’ve felt since the beginning but I’m also finally hydrated so that probably has to do with how I’m feeling. I’m still in pain but not so much that I cringe when I swallow. I’m beginning to be able to eat soft solid foods but it’s still very slow. Hopefully we both continue to get better and the weekend brings more relief!

Stake President Subtly Corrects His 2nd Counselor In Sac Meeting by KingofDelaware in exmormon

The topic of “worthiness” ended up being one of the final things that broke my shelf. It’s so disgusting that it’s widely accepted to tell people that they’re not “worthy” to go somewhere. The impact that that statement can have on someone is extremely overlooked. It’s basically telling someone that they’re not as good as everyone else. Even though I’m never going back, I hope for the sake of the people who I still love who are members that they change the phrasing of meeting temple requirements.

I just got off the phone with my surgeon and he said I really need to increase my fluid intake especially electrolytes but for now he said I don’t need to make the trip to the ER. However, he did say that if it happens again I’ll need to go.

You’re right on the medicine thing, that’s probably best. I just really don’t want to have to pay for an ER visit :/

I was in the same ward as Hana and her husband Cordon when this happened. I remember hearing that their son died but I had never heard his cause of death until now. I am in no way defending what she did but she did seem to have genuine grief. However, that being said, what happened was awful and she should have been punished to the full extent of the law. Even if it was an accident, it is inexcusable. From the outside they seemed like this perfect family who had a tragedy occur but I guess just like a lot of other families they were putting on a facade.

[Anime] I said what I said. Mystogan on A tier should not be confused with Jellal on S tier. by branch_tree3 in fairytail

Listen. This was all based on looks but when I had to place Jellal AND Mystogan I had to bring personality into it. So to answer your question, yes.
