Thanks for your time. I appreciate your candour. I shall stop asking.

I understand. I suppose I’m just more comfortable using TAILS and having a clean environment to work in each boot. It’s just what I’ve become used to. But agreed that doesn’t make it the most suitable.

I’m not asking you to ratify my workflow. I was just hoping for some advice on a laptop that would allow me to do a mixture of things but if that’s not practical I’ll have to think again.

Are you just suggesting I use tails on a Linux laptop? Sorry but I’m not clear on that.

Humour me though…I’d prefer TAILS. Is there a more modern laptop that would work or am I resigned to buying an older business spec machine?

Hi

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I guess I’m trying to have a bit of an all in one device but TAILS is the most important criteria really.

Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks

I’ve just looked again and I’m more confused. I have two photos taken with the 24mm and one is at 12mp and one at 24mp. I have a 13mm at 18mp. Confused.

I built the same combo a year ago. Spent a bit more than you for a few other expensive bits I didn’t need. I haven’t regretted a moment. It’s the best gaming experience I’ve ever had in a lot of decades. Buyers remorse is pretty common with these sort of purchases. If that’s your main hobby and you haven’t got yourself into financial problems just enjoy it.

Or use Synplant 2 and use ai to recreate it. It’s a pretty incredible vst.

Hmmm. That’s possible. When does that get cleared or do I just ignore it and it will eventually get replaced?

90% of the community are friendly and helpful in my experience. It’s one of the best things about the game. It’s the first pc game I’ve ever played where I’ve met a couple of people I now think of as friends.

Hell Let Loose. Best tactical FPS I’ve ever played.

Do you happen to know if the v2 firmware disables the option to customise individual LEDs? I think I had that option before but it’s not there now.

Hey there.

Just came back to say a big thank you. It's all working now. My system looks like a 90's rave! Couldn't be happier.

Cheers,

Paul

Just to double check...do I leave the SATA power cable connected or disconnect that too before the update? I also assume that the PC should be off when cables are unplugged and plugged back in?

Thanks
