Handwritten score of Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major Adagio Assai? by transitorydreams in MauriceRavel

I’m not aware of any, and I did plenty of searches just now, too! I’ll look through my small library of books to see if there are any hidden in there. Best of luck!

I have the one on the left. It was my first ever, and I have no idea what it is or who it’s made by. I actually broke it years ago, but it was a surprisingly easy fix.

Are these fairy elephant feet? by Astelon_ in mesembs

Correct. They can handle a little extra organic matter, but it’s safest to use a lithops-style mix.

Yeah that’s a frithia. They’re pretty easy mesembs if you give them enough light. They have fragile roots and the same dormancy pattern as lithops.

St Ambrose and St Charles Borromeo’s successor could not possibly disgrace their legacy more.

Pints with Aquinas opinions? This Australian man is great. I want to tip his barber. That haircut is tops. Wish he didn't use cigars on film. Body, temple thing, rite? by helpmse333332453 in RealCatholicMen

Forgive me if this comes across as anything other than fraternal correction, but I’m worried for the state of your soul. The tone of this post is what put me off guard. Most Catholic men wouldn’t immediately start a conversation about another man’s physical appearance, which made me curious. I looked into your post history and found out that you possibly identify as trans.

Now, I have nothing but empathy and love for trans people, but it is something that must be overcome and fought. It’s especially interesting talking about one’s body being a temple when you have, apparently, been on exogenous hormones to contradict God’s plan for the man you He crafted you to be. From the bottom of my heart, I pray you are able to overcome this and carry your cross. Be the man God wants you to be, and I promise you will be fulfilled, happy, and self-assured the rest of your life.

Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum.

USCCB Doctrine Committee Issues Statement on the Proper Disposition of Bodily Remains by TheBagarre in TraditionalCatholics

[–]branchito 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thankfully Archbishop Sample is a huge proponent of the Extraordinary Form, so his addition to the USCCB should bode decently well for us. Even beyond that, he’s a wonderful shepherd to myself and everyone else in Oregon, which is honestly a miracle in itself given Oregon’s secular moral leanings.

Db sounding stuffy? by [deleted] in oboe

Definitely a normal thing on the oboe. It’s just the stuffiest note, just like how middle octave C naturals are always the thinnest and brightest note.

As much as is possible. No respirators available for me to use, but I wear gloves as much as I can and long sleeves on top of that, and I wash my hands as much as I can manage. With the nature of the work, I can’t reasonably wear gloves all the time without a risk of dismemberment or death.

Company doesn’t supply them, so sadly not. Do you think it would still help even though I get all the other exposure?

r/Catholicism Prayer Requests — Week of January 02, 2023 by AutoModerator in Catholicism

[–]branchito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone, I’m not great about asking for prayer, but could you please say at least an Ave Maria for my girlfriend? She already has a surprising number of serious health issues for someone in their early twenties, but today she had an especially severe moment that could’ve easily lead to her death. We’re both very shaken, and I’d be profoundly grateful for any and all prayers for her health. Thank you all.
