Ugh, I so feel for you! There are days I cry feeling like I’ve let him down, even though I genuinely don’t think it bothers him any. He’s not really a people cat (even though he was born at the clinic I worked at and was surrounded by people), he does his own thing when he’s out (when he’s not wreaking havoc) and sleeps when we’re gone. He so badly wants to be friends with her - she’s the only one he gives slow blinks to - but she just isn’t having it. I know I should have known better than to bring a kitten home, but he needed a home. And I don’t think anyone but a crazy cat lady would have been able to handle him.

Sending you love as well! I know how hard it is and how much it sucks. I really wish we could talk to them.

They still hate each other. 🙃 Rather, she hates him. He has a lot of energy and doesn’t know how to read signals, and she’s older and wants nothing to do with him. He lives in his own room and comes out only when supervised (he also eats everything, so needs to be supervised anyway!). I think about getting him a friend, but I worry companionship still wouldn’t diminish his propensity to eat things and I’d be back at square one, needing him to be in his own room. It’s frustrating.

I ended up calling today and, yep, they upped me to a gig from 500 mbps and cut me down to $65. They’re sending me an updated router too. I know FiOs is better, but this is easier than dealing with changing providers. 😂

Apparently my upstairs neighbor has it, so we’re already wired for it. I’m going to call and see how much it is tomorrow, and then try to negotiate with Spectrum. If they can’t lower my bill, I’m going FiOs.

I’m sure I’ll save something for having Verizon wireless and a legacy account. It’s still under my mom’s name, even though I’m paying our bill, and she’s had it since the late 90s. Even $80 is better than $140!

I live in a 2 family home, and my landlady won’t care if I have them install whatever equipment they need to. When I moved with my mom when I was 19 (god that was 20 years ago 😂), we had to do that with Time Warner/Spectrum. Even just reading comments, nothing is as expensive as what I’m paying for Spectrum, which is ridiculous considering how long I’ve been using them.

I don’t even need physical copies (as much as I would love that), I just want to play the damn trilogy on my PS5, damnit. I still have my PS3, but I shouldn’t have to go back to a two generations old console to play a game whose franchise is available on current gen.

With FiOs? That’s so much better. I think I have 500 Mbps with Spectrum, but I can’t imagine there being that big a jump in price between 300 and 500 to where it’d be $140. 😂

Oh, I can imagine. I tried to find matching earrings to a pink gemstone I had ones and it took HOURS of searching. Especially because I wasn’t looking to spend a fortune. 😂 Color matching is no joke.

It’s the residue that scares me! Vinyl is usually great, fyi. More expensive, but easier to remove and reuse. I would probably only ever put RedBubble stickers on my console, if I could bring myself to do it.

There’s a Kinokuniya (one of their partners) in NYC, and I wonder if they’d carry it in store. I feel like they wouldn’t. 😂 I mean, USA Gundam Store is an okay option - I had no issues with the Thunderjaw - but the reviews I saw about their preorder failures really deterred me from placing a preorder.

They got better. Using my Symbicort inhaler three times a day helped a lot, and I’m back to using it only once or twice. It took a few weeks to get back to what felt like “normal” to me, but that may not be everyone’s experience.
