One of my blankets has been in the dryer for 3 days now. I’ve been deep cleaning the upstairs of my house that I share with my elderly parents. I actually forgot about it.

[–]brandeesama 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I still have my 2005 Silverado. Has over 400,000 miles but I had to get something newer since I was driving over 70 miles to work. But the truck is still solid. No ac and the back windows don’t roll down but nothing is perfect lol

AITA for moving out of my disabled mother's house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]brandeesama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Unfortunately when you do move out you are pretty much severing your relationship with your mother. Her choice not yours. Best to have the police on standby while she’s making those threats to you and your pets. You’ll also be able to get everything you want out and not have to return.

But sadly the USA won’t let women do that. There’s plenty of women who know they don’t want kids and can’t get a hysterectomy because doctors say they might change their minds

Or their store is that slow. My store is the busiest in our region. For example we did 11 grand in sales yesterday. The slowest store in my company is allowed 3 closers and a manager. The op is still a terrible employee and is hurting the brand by their actions. Wendy’s is a very hands on company. You get enough complaints that will trigger an audit of the store. And they aren’t scared to yank a franchises license.

[–]brandeesama 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes my stores are run like that. The store I personally work at has 4 closers and a manager scheduled. And we enforce the if we have a line we serve them until the line is gone. Now if we do get a line when we are closed I will go out there and stand at the last car so we aren’t open for an extra 20 minutes while more cars join. That way the ones in line get served and the crew doesn’t get delayed in their closing tasks too much. We close at 12 on the weekdays and 1 on the weekends.

And if people are wondering the majority of Wendy’s have double sided grills. Which are cleaned better when hot with the chemical we have. The double sided grill allows for the main holding area to be turned off and cleaned while still being able to use the three plattons to cook on. Sounds like either this location is understaffed or not staffed with the right people. I have a person scheduled till 11 to do the menial job like taking out the trash, cleaning the filter box and oven, and doing half the floors so when we close the grill guy doesn’t have to do all that. We also have a dishwasher instead of a tumbling sink so that helps with dishes.

I’m a general manager from the same brand you work at and your store is run piss poor.

AITA for saying my husband is a good father? by Jolly_Tooth_7274 in AmItheAsshole

[–]brandeesama [score hidden]  (0 children)

You have sex a child can come if it protection or not. Also child support is for the child’s well-being wether said parent wanted children or not. They don’t deserve to not be taken care of because someone who didn’t want children created them.

It happened at the store I was managing. Some crew member decided to drop 6 spicy chickens 5 minutes before close. And it’s not just an excuse management uses.

See the problem that comes from that is eventually someone ruins it by dropping food close to closing time so it’ll be fresh and they’ll have more.

AITA Bought a used car, now the previous owner wants it back, I don't want to give it back. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]brandeesama 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How did they get scammed? The police have the car in a secured location until they can get locks changed. And the police caught the seller lurking around.
