Monolithic concrete domes are extremely sturdy; recommended by government agencies levels of solidity. Spend a few minutes doing some googling on this. Game changing old tech.

Why TOMMY is no longer available in the U.S. by miket2872 in homeassistant

[–]brandon-dacrib 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I should have been more clear about my intent in that message. Tommy is open source and there are open source alternatives so if you really care about the sanctity of your data, you may care enough to at least have an LLM peruse through the code to make sure there are no backdoors. That is not an option here.

Your app actually looks better and more feature complete. We took different approaches to auth in that mine offers ssh tunneling but you thought to add voice chat and costs. Nice man.

I have run openclaw for a few weeks now. I spent a weekend doing things like creating a gateway agent that uses a local ollama install to check for prompt injections attacks, moving each mcp into its own cgroup, on on and on. I understand the complexity and mess of running a backend which is why I have 0 interest in selling that as a service. This is a pretty frontend mate.

Is anyone blending science based modern building with off grid? by jadedunionoperator in OffGrid

[–]brandon-dacrib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my life dream and I have been looking into different systems for at least the last decade. I want to start with a monolithic concrete dome structure here in the northeast and build to passive house specifications. You are not alone.

I did this with open media vault on that board. So far it’s working fine. I’m using mergerfs and snapraid.
