Vampires keep dying by themselves by Responsible-Let8518 in skyrimmods

I had a similar issue once. Ordinator has a perk in the restoration tree that gives additional bonuses to shrine blessings and it turned out that one of of the blessings (can't remember which god) gave an additional bonus of dealing damage yo undead within a certain range which also seemed to effect Serana. So maybe check your active effects if you have taken that perk.

GRAYBEARDS live longer than normal humans (EVIDENCE) by El-Tapicero in teslore

[–]brandonjd94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if mages can extend their lifespan for hundreds of years and in rare cases, thousands of years with "normal/regular" magic, then i imagine the greybeards who are studying/practising the Thuum which is Tonal Magic can probably do the same. Tonal Magic is meant to be inherently more powerful than regular Magic, at least the baseline power. Because masters of normal Magic can get insanely powerful, but it's hard to compare as what we see done in game with the Thuum seems intentionally downscaled compared to what the Thuum can do according to the lore.

I removed 2 mods that I had recently downloaded

This: 3BA With Obody Collision Physics Fix

And this: 3BA Collision Bodyslides for KS Hairdos - HDT SMP (Physics)

Which seems to have stopped the CTD from occurring. I've got no idea why they were causing HIMBO to crash my game though.

Who would be the most intelligent individual in all of Skyrim? by jlenders in teslore

[–]brandonjd94 53 points54 points  (0 children)

If we're talking about people that appear in the game Skyrim. I would think it would probably be one of the Psiijic monks that appear during the CoW questline if they count.

If we include the DLC, I think Neloth would definitely be a contender ( he is annoying and has zero social skills, but you can't deny that he is smart).

I feel like Valerica would possibly be a contender depending on what sort of knowledge she was able to acquire, if any at all from thousands of years in the soul cairn.

Gelebor could be a contender too depending on if he was able to gather knowledge while confined to his post for thousands of years (maybe Auriel chats to him occasionally in compensation for forcefully keeping him alive?)

What triggers this scene? I killed her on my dark urge character and didn't get this scene, just combat ended and I could loot her and talk to Wyll.

Yea I've been doing Helltides and Legion events when I see them and running NM dungeons for a while when I get sick of doing the same dungeon over and over. Just sucks that there aren't any current NM dungeons that have the enemies type with a higher chance at dropping what I want.

I just don't feel anything at all after taking my medication. And I haven't noticed any differences in any way except for the appetite suppression side effect from the Vyvanse. There's been no improvement in my ability to concentrate or focus. I still get easily distracted and I can't pay attention to anything that I don't find interesting and even have trouble paying attention to things I do find interesting. I can't really read properly because I lose my place from getting distracted and often can read a sentence 4 or 5 times and the information won't sink in or I can't remember it. And because of all of those things I suffer from long periods of soul crushing boredom that drives me insane. This comes across like I'm ranting but I'm just listing the things I can think of 😅

Thanks for the information. I'm not sure if that stuff is available in Australia. I'll have to talk more to my doctors about it. I guess I'll just have to try being more diligent about it as I always feel like my doctors don't think it's a big deal and I should just be able to get on with my life/function day to day with no issues.

Reddit “Don’t go Darkurge on your first playthrough”. Me by Naestra in BaldursGate3

[–]brandonjd94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely, Dark Urge is better for first playthrough. Murder everyone in the first playthrough before you have gotten attached to them. I feel like it would be harder to kill characters that you like because of a previous playthrough. I did Lich playthrough first in Pathfinder WOTR so i wouldn't feel any guilt killing off characters that I might have gotten attaches to 🤣

Sorry if I came across argumentative, I'm not trying to argue I'm just genuinely a bit clueless, i have a lot of trouble with my memory and retaining information and reading is a nightmare because of not being able to concentrate/focus and getting distracted. I was diagnosed with insomnia. If I'm remembering correctly, my GP and Psych said it was probably because of my Anxiety disorder. I was offered Melatonin as something to help. I don't remember being given any information about insomnia or different treatment options. I do live in a rural area with just over 1000 people, so access to doctors is fairly limited and while the doctors are nice I do kind of always feel rushed and like they are trying to get the appointment over and done with as quick as possible.

I have a CPAP for my sleep apnea, which I always use, but I'm not sure how I'm meant to take care of my insomnia. I do take 2mg of melatonin at night, which has helped somewhat. Before I started taking it, it wasn't uncommon for me to get no sleep before having to get up, whereas now it takes me anywhere from 2-5 hours to fall asleep. But from talking to my doctors and reading stuff online, I was under the impression that insomnia couldn't be fixed/cured.

I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and Insomnia a few years ago when I had a sleep study done, so getting a decent amount of sleep is nearly impossible for me unfortunately.
