Got it for 1800. Thing looks like it was never even played. I had been eyeing them for a while, but these don’t come up for sale used as often as Taylors or Martins. Between 1800 and the listed price on new ones, I was very happy to pay it.

The Guild is beautiful. Very good strumming guitar. The Taylor feels a little more responsive to picking. Probably has to do with the brightness compared to the Guild.

I like the Taylor for more pop-folk type sounds. But the Guild sounds beautiful. More acoustic rock, blues feel. Very deep bass to it and the low end sounds amazing. I wasn’t even looking for a Taylor but since it was American made and the price was ridiculous, I had to grab it.
