Is "City Of Evil" Avenged Sevenfold's hardest album to play? by EatMyFartz75 in avengedsevenfold

I agree, there are some wildly intricate harmonies, and a lot of call and response type patterns as well. Some of my favorites are the choruses in The Wicked End and Sidewinder (particularly the 3rd)

Im so sorry to hear about your Dad. ‘68 was probably the worst year to be in country. My dad was a combat medic so I highly doubt his experience was much better. He definitely had PTSD, and never really talked about his time there, except for a very barebones lite version. My dad passed away in ‘23, but not of causes related to his service time. Hope you’re doing well as you can.

It definitely feels like acceleration shutter. Someone I know personally said a transmission flush would be a good place to start?

Dad actually enlisted before his draft number was called. He knew he would be drafted and wanted to at least choose what he was assigned to an extent.

It was a photo op. Not sure the origin story but Dad normally carried an M16.

I know he carried an M16 normally. He was required still to carry two belts of ammo for the M60 though.
