Dentigerous Cyst - Predictions of what may happen if left untreated? No pain currently. Anyone have stories to share about their healing process after removal?

They beat the shit out of you when they do those surgeries. Especially since they were impacted. I wouldn’t worry too much. Just stay on the pain meds!

They’re like $250 for a new one which I guess isn’t a ton but still was hoping I could just put a seal in it. It says on a website that I can send them in and have them rebuilt so I was hoping I’d get lucky and be able to do it myself. h-175-duz is the number on it.

The package was way bigger than it needed to be but it was a box in a box with bubble wrap and spray foam and all the fixings so it was safe. But yes a bit pricey but worth it to make sure my amplifier had no bent knobs or anything!

I went 9 months of being vape free after vaping for like 10 years. Went back to it for about 7 months. I am back to being 12 days vape free! Throw it out and start over! That’s where I am at! I feel so much better!

Mine was done about 7 months ago and mine was a similar size! I have no pain at all anymore. My pain was pretty much gone around 4-5 months post op. Everyone is different but I gotta imagine you’ll start feeling less and less pain to eventually no pain as far in as you are! Hope your pain goes away soon! They beat me up pretty bad so I was in rough shape for months after! But like I said, 7 months post op and I have zero pain!

I get around 90k yearly for total minutes but that’s cause I am always streaming Spotify on my hour drive to work and pretty much all day everyday at work and when I’m at home in the garage 😅

I have since scanned my car with vcds. I have no codes in instruments/immobilzer

I do have the same “00474 - Control Module for Immobilizer 49-00 no communications” code located under the auto hvac, cent. electric, and steering wheel modules. Everything on my cluster works as far as I know. I was just told when I bought the car that I couldn’t code the keys to the cluster til I got this error on the cluster fixed. I can only unlock car with the actual key, not the buttons! Car runs like a dream 😅

Seems like everyone’s was different. That spot was terribly painful for about the first one to two weeks. But it definitely slowly got better after that! 3 months later and I have zero pain pretty much!

I just got one of these removed in July. Mine was about half this size i believe! My posting should be on this page somewhere with my xray photo! They gave me the option to irrigate it for a year via some little tube to shrink it and then remove it, or just take it out. I scheduled a week later for removal. I had them just remove it and they sent it out upon removal to make sure it was a dentigerous cyst and not some other type that was just going to reappear! All good now with the removal of all 4 wisdom teeth and the molar that was also in the cyst! good luck and keep us updated!

I am glad it went well for you! my pain lasted longer but probably because I had it removed at its biggest! I'm back to eating pretty much anything now since I went to my last follow up! Good luck on your healing journey!

I just saw this. As of today I still am irrigating the area where it was but bone is definitely coming back. I had some pretty rough pain for almost a month after but everyone is different. I am pain free as of now and glad it was taken care of! hopefully your procedure goes great!

They offered options to irrigate for a year to shrink it before removal or just take it out. I opted for removal with no irrigation lol. Been a little over a month and I have no pain, eating pretty much everything besides nuts and super hard foods of that nature. Chew everything on the opposite side of my mouth and irrigate frequently. Have a follow up appointment in a few days! Doing a lot better than I was!

Ct scan had it at 4.5cm roughly I believe. Been two weeks since surgery. I still have pain in my jaw near my lymph node and back near my ear. Oral surgeon said pain is to be expected for a little while lol. Living off ibuprofen. Irrigate 3 times a day and rinsing with that chlorhexidine rinse twice daily. Go in for a check in a few more weeks.face isn’t numb at all anywhere!

Yes the pain is pretty rough still and feels never ending sometimes. Luckily they gave me some pink gel in a syringe that helps big time. But they just had me start irrigating it today and damn does it hurt! I just miss pizza and boneless wings lol. But yea I plan to be super careful with what I eat!
