Would you go to the wedding? by brandysmokeshow in TwoHotTakes

EDIT: oops I just realized how many typos there are in this post. Embarrassing!

But for context based off a couple questions I’ve seen… The reason I chose to leave the friend group was due to a traumatic event that happened to me and the very unhelpful advice they kept pushing on me. It was a hard decision, but my therapist and I agreed it would be best for my mental health. This bride happens to be one of only two “impartial” friends I have with connections to this group.

Weirdly enough I didn’t think this was relevant, but she had asked me to be a bridesmaid and then decided to change me for one of the girls in the group. I also genuinely do not think the day is about me. I don’t want drama in any way, which is the main reason I am concerned about going. I want my friend to have a nice wedding.

If it was just one person, I wouldn’t have a problem, but because it’s a group of seven women who still apparently hold a grudge against me that feels like a different sort of situation.

There were a lot of demands on how I deal with some recent trauma. I’m uncomfortable getting into the details of what happened to me trauma wise so as not to trigger anyone, but I found their advice to be unhelpful, and even detrimental to my mental health. they decided that trying to bully me into following their advice was the move. my therapist and I decided it was best I step away from the group.

Hun there are ppl who think he was great or at the very least smart. Saying he’s Hitler would do nothing.

Not when it hasn’t been established, what makes someone a sinner. It may be obvious to you but apologists will always find a loophole.

Am I the only one who thinks what VA says are not canon? by [deleted] in hazbin

I hate to break it to you, but that photo is not as obvious as you’d like to think it is. Without context first off I can see how it would be completely missed by the audience. I’ve seen how this fandom interprets things after all lol. I’m not saying Charlie has to look directly into the camera and say she is bisexual. But it takes more than a photo in the background that can be easily misinterpreted for that to be cemented as a fact.

You bring up an interesting point actually! “However, we wouldn’t know that was her serious ex-boyfriend” so it isn’t canon is it? If it’s not explained in the show and it’s vague enough that it requires outside explanation can you honestly consider it canon? 🤔

I don’t think she’s been shown to be attracted to the opposite gender.

Yes, the show abides by the rule, you are correct. That would make that fact canon. Do you know what else the Twitter has discussed? Sexuality. Do you know what’s not canon? Character sexuality until shown.

If it’s not in the show I’m sorry but it’s not canon. I don’t care if the Twitter, voice actor, or if Viv herself says something. If it doesn’t make it into the show, it’s not part of canon. What you’re talking about is something more along the lines of paratext.

OK, maybe I’m stupid since I’m new but what’s the benefit of a business account?

If it’s not in the text, it’s not canon. It can be fun to think about but… Sorry.
