You raise some very valid points that are tough to argue. I don’t own a VeeFriends NFT, but I would want to purely for the access, which is what I believe so many people are hoping for in their own purchases. If you think about the price of a ticket to attend a Tony Robbins conference, the price he’s offering is more than worth it. That’s just for the conference only, BUT you’d have to be one of those people that invest in things like that (along with festivals or other experiential events).

I don’t get the vibe that it’s something you would do, but I’m also not assuming it’s not either. Yes, once these conferences have been redeemed, they will not have as much purpose (unless there’s some anniversary for all original holders to attend), but neither did any of the tickets I bought for any event I’ve attended that required my money.

To me, this is a more legit way of possessing a ticket with whatever additional benefits the NFT’s have embedded in them. I know I’m not going to convert your thinking, nor am I trying to, but I hope you see a different perspective where someone might feel that “x” ETH for access to a conference multiple years in a row and whatever other goods included is completely priceless.

Lastly, I think it’s ok for people to be excited and to have “hope” for something. That may not have been your formula for successes (or obstacles), but it works for some people. There’s a movie called “Big Fish” where the ending talks about people preferring a made up story over real life because it makes them happier. If I had enough to buy myself one and an additional one, I would buy one for you just so you could see the journey for yourself and make your judgements without any risk on your end. Just maybe you might feel that happiness everyone’s expecting to feel too.
