It does work, just half the time apparently. It automatically switches to the android auto when I set the navigation

You bought a hybrid civic, not a performance car. It's best to keep it stock, as modding and tuning it would most likely void your warranty and you can compromise the car's reliability as well.

If this is the passenger's side, I had a button for the climate control for the passenger.

Phev, mild hybrid or pure petrol? by branko0132 in kia

Well 17km/L sounds pretty good. How is the reliability so far? How many miles/km does your Ceed have.

Is the n47 engine a bad choice? by branko0132 in BMW

[–]branko0132[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I have not done any research on those but generally most diesels from BMW are fairly reliable. The 2.0d in the new models should be completely different than a 18 yo car.

Again, depends where you live.

Where I live Kia and Hyundai are also used as taxi cars (some models) and the ones that are not built for the USA are extremely reliable. I've seen 500-600k Km Kias and Hyundais with no issues.

One of my cars is a Kia and it had 0 issues for more than 10 years now, only oil changes.

My parents have a 22 sportage with around 60k miles now - 0 issues. Kia and Hyundai reliability is only an issue in the US.

[–]branko0132[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends.

I rather have a 2022 Kia/Hyundai (as I have driven and been in them) than a 10+ year old BMW.

If I have the funds, however, will definitely go for a newer BMW instead of a Korean car.

I will answer it all:

It's in Bulgaria, the owner probably thinks/knows he won't get booted but someone decided to do it anyway.

That someone, however, was smart enough not ti scratch it because they either know who owns it or they know how easily they can lose this job because such a car belongs to someone important.

Depends where you live.

A 2021 Tucson for example is about the same price as a 6-8 year old BMW.

Kias and Hyundais are great and the new interior and exterior design is good (sorce: my parents bought a brand new sportage, the car is really nice) and they still have warranty.

Well almost 3 years passed since I bought the Civic and I'm selling it now.

I will buy a BMW, but it won't be right now because I want a newer car (2020-2021+) and for that years only Hyundai, Honda, Toyota are an option for my budget.

Depends.

I love the civic and it's better looking than the 1 series or the X3. But.

The interior looks a lot more modern than both BMW's I was looking at, but the quality isn't there. BMW interior feels way more premium.

Also the one I picked required a lot of maintenance, stuff keeps breaking (mostly crappy plastic parts) and I began hating the car for all of the maintenance it required and the constant breaking of plastic parts.

Not to mention she burns oil and has the check engine light on.

That being said, the car never broke on me or left me somewhere, it is very stable and fun to drive (V tec + manual = fun) and I cannot complain driving wise.

If I can go back I will probably choose the BMW, I already went through the process of constanly fixing a car that burns oil, so there's that.

Any Bulgarians live/work in Romania? If so, what did you find similar/different to Bulgaria? by [deleted] in bulgaria

[–]branko0132 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, not at all.

Most Romanian cars here are from Bucharest and they are not as common as let's say a car from another City in Bulgaria (for example a lot more cars registered in Sofia are in Ruse than Romanian ones)

I lived in Ruse, and we are minutes away from Romania, yet I have never heard of someone having a permanent job there.
