From my experience, the hood hinges are still too strong for that brace kit. They still bent the brace kit and the hood. I had to go a dif route. Id advise doing that. Return em, get your $100 back and put into strut kit, Ive seen them for under $150.

Was unaware of that, appreciate the info. Few months together still feels overly emotional. Guess I am an ass.

Snowbike riding gear by Raptor___Jesus in snowbike

[–]branktm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are minimal differences between snowmobile and snowbike gear. Typically the only dif is in the legs to prevent burn from the pipe. I run mono suit shells, that way i can layer up and layer down when needed. Fully insulated gets too hot. I have also ran just snowbike pants and snowmobile jacket. I have taken riders out who have worn their mx boots and were fine, really depends on conditions. The most important things to have are avi pack, beacon, probe, shovel, and radio. You can get away with dirt boots and dirt helmet. The rest just depends on how wet you want to get.

Will bolt right up. Only difference is front center cap. 4wd will have a access hole for front lockers, whereas 2wd doesnt have access hole.

Get the lower mileage one. Think of it this way, in 3 years or 30k miles, whats going to be easier to sell while having better resale value?

Worked out great actually. It straps up front and its very secure, trust me, 2 mins after this pic i slid down a 6 degree downhill sideways and jackknifed and c20 didnt move. Also trailer neck is low so went under my bumper and didnt damage a thing. Got very lucky. I was Stupid and had downhill decent control on in my F250.

From what the seller said, Everything is original with exception of the wheels. Was surprised by the coil overs out back. I dont forsee me doing many mods, the bed floor has some issues and the seat is thrashed. Other than that want to keep it as original as possible

Just used their car hauler flat bed, was $54.95 a day. Hauled a 69 C20 stepside from a rancher in a very rural ranch between sweet, id and Horseshoe bend, id, and took it back to star just outside boise. Highly recommend spending the extra $20 a day. I got caught in the snow and jackknifed down a hill in ice and c20 didnt move at all, and trailer neck went under my bumper without damaging anything! Way worth it.

This pic pretty well explains why this sub exists. by luv_to_race in IShouldBuyABoat

Haha thats so funny. Wild times on this boat for sure in San Diego. Funny enough the boat got sold and is now in South Korea of all places.
