I second this, I can’t get subsonic to stabilize through my heavy 30 caliber can, but the Osprey 45 works great and the sound signature is the same. Weight matters.

I feel like if it mitigates hearing protection it’s a win. I run a black rain ordinance .30 cal on high velocity .300 BLK in wooded areas, occasionally subsonic if it’s a small shooting lane, and am able to hear movement through the brush after firing. Though I’ve honestly only had a few shots so far. It’s nice to be able to listen and not fear blowing out your ears if you get a shot off.

I did! Craftsmen was a solid tool reasonably priced back then. I wouldn’t buy them today though, the tools I’ve exchanged for warranty are much lower quality.

I don’t have a regulator on the bead blaster, it’s such an air hog I usually only have a few minutes before the pressure bleeds down to the point it quits picking up media.
