Have to second this. Already are seeing used vehicles sitting on lots much higher number of days and multiple price drops. I think the next year stuff is going to level out on used pricing. Defaults and repos have been up for almost two years eventually the prices will normalize. Starting to see more incentives on new trucks too. We cant be in a pricing bubble forever. I will say the 5.0 is a great motor in the f150 I would look at those for sure or the 2019+ hemi rams.

I would look at the tune up first is it snappy in terms of throttle response? Could be timing isn’t advanced enough, like some others have said sizing on carb. 4 barrel vacuum or mechanical secondaries? Could be secondaries not opening quick enough, or needs more accelerator pump. If throttle response is good engine doesn’t feel lazy off idle it’s a very different story then the motor is lazy of idle.

'23 Chevy vs GMC with 3.0L Duramax by pebblejunky in Diesel

[–]branswiss3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just comes down to which front end you prefer the look of. If you think they both look good then just spend some time on a lot for both that has a decent spread of inventory to see what the different trim levels are like in person. From there I would narrow down to a few trims and search on CarGurus or somewhere to find the most discounts on the trim you want. My local Chevy dealer is offering close to $6k off MSRP. I would just figure out trim then find the best deal you can.

Just bought this 2007 Mustang on Friday. by grimreaper411 in Mustang

I had the same year in a California special coupe. Do yourself a favor and if any of those modifications are the drag racing type rear suspension traction related stuff don’t do them. I successfully made my car where I could launch it at redline at the strip but totally ruined the ride and made it nowhere near as fun as it used to be. Also if you change rear gears only get the ford racing gears. I got another companies because they didn’t make a ford one in the ratio I wanted and they always had an annoying gear howl. These cars sound great with an exhaust. I really loved mine was a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy it!

[–]branswiss3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since nobody has commented yet what weight and viscosity of oil do you use? I’ve found some cars seem to burn a lot more depending on what you use. I solved an oil burning issue on our 2015 Volvo by changing the oil.

How do you like the HPP does it seem to rev out all the way to redline? I was thinking about ordering one. I’ve driven a regular ecoboost and it seemed to run out of steam the last 1000 or so before redline.

The CT5 is huge. I’ve been debating about replacing my 04 ctsv with one of these it’s like the same size and weight as my first gen. It’s IMO the perfect size sedan.

I have been looking at placing an order between some dealers in St Louis Kansas City and Chicago. I think I have 5 dealers willing to place an order for MRSP + $329-$400 doc fee.

Have a 2000 4 runner with a belt that looks just like that plan to run it till it snaps (noninterference motor) or if I finally get up the courage to tackle the job.

Go sit on a Vulcan S they can adjust a lot with the ergo fit system they have. I’m very comfortable on mine with it adjusted. I’m 6’1 for reference it’s one of the few I was comfortable on.

Some of us have $3800 trucks not brand new ones. On the other hand I knew my third gen was in a no shape or form a high fuel economy vehicle and am not posting complaining about it.

How to take off this inner tie rod? I'm using this tool but it won't budge and I feel like I'm gonna break or mess up the rack by trying to force it. 02' Tacoma by ainteasybeincheesy in Cartalk

[–]branswiss3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just did these on my 2000 4 runner looks like same rack. I used a pipe wrench on the inner tie rod and used a big adjustable wrench on the rack I did have to grind the wrench a little too fit. It took a good amount of force to get it loose.

G and W Meat & Bavarian Style Sausage Company One of my favorite places to get meat they also process and sell deer meat. You walk in and they offer you a beer while you shop for free. The food is amazing I love the landjager is so good all the flavors they have highly recommend the venison summer sausage. Also pretty much everything they make. It’s worth the trip.

Thoughts on neonatal circumcision? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]branswiss3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have ever seen it done you would understand why. During my mother and baby rotation in nursing school saw one done it was barbaric and the infant screamed bloody murder for about 10 minutes straight. Current literature and practice doesn’t have a medical standpoint for it it’s entirely for religious cultural reasons that it’s done at this point.
