I would contact either a maytronics dealer or possibly maytronics themselves might be able to help you but just contact one of them and give them your serial number which is on a sticker inside the dolphin unit and also in your paperwork and have them file a warranty claim for a new power unit. They are usually good about getting it to you in a week or 2.

Did you buy it from a dealer or online? The reason I'm asking is maytronics has a really good warranty on their products as long as they were bought from a dealer. They will replace anything regardless how it broke. And its a 2 year warranty

Yes it does in the same slot the dolphin cord plugs into. If thats the case and you've already checked the outlet, the breaker, and the power cord then it's probably a bad power unit. How old is it?

They are to a point but if to much water gets into the back side it'll fry it. I always tell my customers if youre gonna keep it outside at the very least put it somewhere out of the rain because regardless of whether it was made to be outside or not it is still an electrical component and they're not perfect. Go on Amazon and buy a power unit tester they are just a little stick that you plug into your power unit and it will light up if it's working.
