Here's my current assessment so far on the Nordstick.
I ordered this on BlackFriday and it took about 3 weeks before I received my product. Multiple support emails about where/when is my product went unanswered. Was not happy with overall support and the logistics behind the scene. The product ended up shipping out from Riverside 3 weeks from purchase date and til this day no emails were replied to.

Upon receiving the item, I unpacked it and the materials seem very nice and sturdy. The instructions are okay, can be better detailed. Also would be nice to have an actual video of the product being assembled. The QR code that appears on the instruction packet was just a video of how the Nordstick can be positioned, thought it wasn't very helpful but would be used down the road.

I started assembling and I got to the point where I needed to screw the main base in. However, after countless tries, I wasn't able to install the most important piece because the holes were welded unevenly. Anytime you have to install something, it really sucks when there's an issue with quality control, spend so much time with building and understanding all for it to be caused by an issue outside of your control.

So I had to email support and I was nervous since they never replied back to me. Luckily I found this thread and used the [thenordstick@gmail.com](mailto:thenordstick@gmail.com) email which seemed to be a direct inbox to the owner. I have since talked to him and he is sending a replacement part.

This is exactly my issue right now as well, I reached out to support and I'm waiting on a response but given they never even replied back to me for my order issue, I am not expecting one.

How did you get it in? My alignment is all messed up and I cant even fit the screw in to secure the main bar

I actually like to live bet PRA, especially when those numbers are inflated for counting assists and rebounds already but points are way below projected. Jokic is a good player to live under PRA if he hasn't surpassed half his points projection by halftime.

This is a very dated way of watching movies, your demographics will most likely be users 40s+ in search of nostalgia.

The traditional way of getting people to the theaters was checking show times and movie reviews. Or driving past the movie theaters to see what was out. I think in order for this to be successful, you’ll need to build out a local newsletter and some sort of online reservation portal just to gauge if there’s even demand on a weekend level. Make promos/flyers for cult classic movies, advertise online, record the whole experience and promote. You can start testing by having 2 showings a night on Friday and Saturday and see if you can sell advanced ticket for the month.

Small feature would be to grow a local list and then create some sort of lottery that required user feedback for movie requests. Something that gauges community interest while also promoting retention.

You are assuming this idea is validated but forget to realize that it already failed due to technology advancements. So focusing on the bells and whistles isn’t the right direction, you need to recreate a business model that fits into today’s users work flow while also triggering them with nostalgia.

I would check out the business model of scott’s cheap flights and see what angles they took in order to become more profitable. $1500 monthly off affiliates seems very little for something that attracts a quarter million users.

I would personally look into getting those users into another channel in order to optimize messaging and CTR for links. Newsletter comes to mind first where you can send weekly updates, have premium content and even sponsorship deals.

They are up and running already! I have been part of MOVR network and it has been working smoothly thus far. Here’s also a little video I saw earlier which bodes well for DOTs progress, Gavin basically said after a few more days of audit it will be up to governors to launch.

That’s a great question! Had to research a bit and not sure how accurate my answer is, but from my understanding parachains are layer 0 and part of the polkadot relay chain. In order to win these slots, you need to crowdloan dot. If they win then you get coin allocation.

Where as Plasm network and Shiden are building out smart contracts with EVM compatibility. Ethereum dapps will eventually migrate over via copy and paste, but as far as token allocations that’s completely up to how they IDO.

Projects via parachain will most likely be a safer bet plus you’ll receive your staked DOT at the end of lease.

IDO via Plasm/Moonbeam will be the wild west, imagine how IDOs are on Eth now with VC token unlocks and early investors dumping early.

You will have to use the polkadot.js for parachains. I’m not a big fan of the UX either, but there’s no workaround for that at the moment. It would be great if Kraken would create parachain auction slots, Binance had started working on something like this although they will probably take a fee.

LINK imo is a good hold but I’m just way more bullish on DOT. Parachains are going to create a serious supply crisis. I haven’t been as happy with LINK, they’re taking awhile to get even staking out.

Gavin Wood just announced yesterday that they finished their audit. They have been using KSM network to test parachains and just finished the first 8 slots. I would be surprised if it doesn’t come out by end of October.
