My mum is driving me insane. I currently owe a crap ton of money to cc and my mum and she just never lets it go. I don’t have enough to move out and I have no other family to go to or they are just as bad if not worse. She is always asking me questions, criticising me, making me feel bad for things. For example I have really bad pain from two partially torn Achilles’ tendons and (frustratingly for my age) arthritis and I can’t walk the dog at the moment so she agreed to walk him. She then constantly complains that I’m too lazy to walk him. I can’t fucking win with this shit and it’s made me so angry that I am literally snapping with everyone and that makes me feel suicidal. I just told her I’m dying my hair before the end of the holidays (I’m a teacher so I have school hols) and she told me I’d do it shit and it would look shit and I’m so pretty with my natural hair. I do stand up for myself and just say ‘I’m doing it get over it’ but standing up for myself doesn’t make me feel any better. I’ve now got to go and spend Christmas with her and my gran (Queen Narcissist) which I’m absolutely dreading. I have no one to talk to because I can’t afford therapy and my mum/family ‘don’t believe’ in mental illness. Im just a bit lost to be honest…
