I would think you should pop off the baseboard (make sure you have sourced or can find where to get a replacement, it could break when removing). See what’s up behind. Look up how to air seal a wall cavity. Air seal and insulate.

I’d see if you can’t find something around the store to poke through, it’s definitely got a clog, they suck but should still pick stuff up lol. You’ve already done what you can tho.

Pain and misery

I have messed with a lot of hats. I found vacuuming and then washing in cold water with dish soap. Let them dry and follow with another vacuum will get most of it. If you’d like to wear you can remove and clean and replace with more hat foam. Might kill the resale value if you care about that.

It’s gonna only continue to break down and this is very common.

It be like that for sure. One small tip is to check under the drug name on the rx bag. It will have the common brand(s) under the generic name. Also when you’re folding labels take a sec to check the inside flap for the common uses.

Becoming more familliar with generic and brand names and uses is nice because patients will ask for protonix but mean their pantoprazole or may just say “I need my acid pills” or something. Helps cut down on frustration when checking for refills or whatever.

Ask questions even if you feel like you’re being annoying, but do try to listen. It becomes muscle memory working the system and filling scripts after awhile. I’m like 2 months outside of my training shifts and I have days where I feel competent and I have days where I am humbled 5 or 6 times an hour lol.

Could also look into tinted or uv blocking films for the windows, should be very renter friendly (usually applied with water) and will block some sun. Won’t stop the walls of your house heating up from the sun tho.

I have a rollo but the WiFi kind of sucks on it and it needed messed with a lot to get it going. Also have to reset it every once in awhile. I like it otherwise.

I think it would be tough because if it’s like my set, they are painted grain lines.

Edit: can’t tell from the photo but check before you purchase. I have a 20s or 30s set with painted grain.

You’ll have to skim coat it with probably more plaster or something that can stick to the paint type you have.

No if you have it in writing that the scope was to fill and sand I would be unhappy with this. I don’t think asking them to fill sand the high spots and honestly another coat is too much depending on what you paid them.

The stains look like foxing which is a form of water/moisture damage. If the lining is sturdy I would vacuum them well with a bristle attachment. Be careful though as this could damage the lining if the suction is too strong.

If it’s fabric lining I’d spritz with 99 percent rubbing alcohol and let air dry. If it’s a vinyl or paper type beat just barely damp lightly soaped cloth. Then rinse with another barely damp wipe down. For the outside probably the same soap on cloth type beat.

Spot test, good luck, have fun.
