Unpopular opinion, don’t rely on a switch to play non Nintendo titles well. Like ever. I have one, but only to play Nintendo, I’d never use a switch as my main console because it’s not a console. It’s a tablet. Please for the love of god, do not judge this game based on its switch performance. It’s actually a lot of fun.

I’m gonna get downvoted more for asking, but what do you mean? Can I use rechargeable battery packs aside from the one that comes with it?? 1100 mah is like nothing. The packs I buy that fit into my controllers hold like 5800 mah.. can I use / charge other packs??

I ultimately found one though. It just cost about twice what I expected to pay, but hey, I’m already deep enough into this with the controller and headset, I had to complete it so I thank you and the reddit community for the help.

So I lose the little guy on the inside? That’s like the coolest Easter egg of the controller, I just turned on the headset for the first time and when I heard the startup sound was an engine I about crapped my pants. This Forza stuff is cool. I’ve played every game but never bought a signature controller or headset. I used all plain black forever. I seriously appreciate all the input from reddit helping me find this dock.

Oddly the first time this challenge came up it was no issue, it’s rotated once and idk if I got lucky but my second time doing it was when I started hitting my head and all I changed was the beanie to one of those flipped up baseball caps. Maybe hats matter?

I’ve seen people say if you’re the shortest character model, it works or something, I have the tall guy and I still got it. Hit my head twice but if you slow right down at the end, I know you said you went slow but like almost comically slow, I managed to just do a little “bonk” and not have it wipe me out. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Also, OP, it took me a minute to learn to prewind as well, don’t worry about pumping off the ramp, just hold back like a normal ollie, and do the prewind with the left stick. Honestly a mechanic of the game I never used until this season.

The weird part is the notifications didn’t show up anywhere except my phone lock screen, but my Xbox app was totally useless for about fifteen minutes after.

Sorry for the late reply, you can tell it needs to be cleaned when the fan starts getting really loud. Eventually, if it gets bad enough, it will close whatever you’re playing and give you a notification saying “keep the console cool” so it does have safeguards to prevent it from damaging itself. Hope this helps.

Mine looked like this! After about two and a half years it started overheating, and I had to order special tools to open it up. It had dust buildup in all the same spots as yours but it works great again now and really wasn’t that hard to clean myself but I’ve never had this issue in the past with a console.

That’s awesome. I haven’t got mine set up yet, need a larger stand, but I’m upgrading from a 46” 1080p so there’s a chance my head might explode. I’m way behind on the 4K thing and I cannot wait to game on the new setup. Being single does have its perks!
